Following on from my previous comment, I did get the Azla tips as per your recommendation but found the bass was getting a slight boost. Upon researching, I ordered both the Spinfit CP1025 tips and the Azla Earfit Max tips. These are the same size as the originals and also the same length between the spout and the ear canal, which was what was causing the bass boominess with the ones you recommended. I ended up sticking with the Spinfit, but I’d be happy with either. They are made of the same, slightly “sticky” silicone and they stay in place, unlike the originals. This was the sticking point (pardon the pun), but the Orbit are now close to perfect for me. I also picked up the AZ80s for everyday use, and the sound is very good indeed, but these do have a special sauce to them. Thanks again!

Decided to get these, even after all the negative reviews I’ve seen everywhere - no ANC, no transparency, funny colour, dodgy app… I’m happy I did, and it was all based off of your review. They are so good. No fatigue, everything is placed in the soundscape where it should be, very surprisingly wide soundstage, great rumbly bass, and I’m just so happy with them. Such a fun sound too. I have “clinically” accurate IEMs and these just make me happy. I’m a SpinFit guy myself but have just ordered the Azlas as per your recommendation. Don’t worry, I did use your link.
ANC?.. They isolate well enough without it, and with music playing, there’s no need for “proper” ANC. Transparency mode? Use your fingers and remove the earbud from your ear hole. Dodgy app? Yes, it’s not pretty, but it does the job and rarely need to go in there.
I regret buying the M&D MW09’s now… Yes, they are technologically much more advanced, but the sound is miles away from the Orbit, and not in a good way. They are not well controlled at all and those highs pierce my ears no end.
All this just to say thank you for your review - literally the most sensible out there.
I can't help but agree about ANC. I have very little need for ANC in my day to day. I find these very intriguing. Thanks for the review!

Nice to see another review, you always do a great job. I picked these up and agree with everything you said. They're really fantastic, I use them for the gym, running, podcasts and walking about. My dad is legally deaf so the comparison to hearing aids is spot on... however there is an added benefit. When someone talks to you and they see them in your ears they'll speak much louder when addressing you so you usually don't need to take them out.
If I have 1 complaint, I have pretty big hands and it's awkward taking them out of the case. I've dropped them a few times so I'm always having to be conscious of my surroundings and what I'm doing to use them.
One other thing is the comfort. I use the included foam tips, they're secure but not the most comfortable iems campfire has to offer. They disappear of you're active and out-and-about but for relaxing at home they become noticeable. I'd place them between the Atlas and Andromeda OG for comfort.

Been using the andromeda 2020 for 3 years now, still amazing, still my fav iem. True wireless andro might be nice although I doubt it would maintain the extremely high resolution andromeda is know for
What are they thinking with the terrible color scheme?
Just had a set of these arrive. So far the sound seems to be good, but the app and tech component is a mess. Took a solid 45min of faffing around to get the app to acknowledge that the left earphone existed at all and get the firmware to update (trick seems to be to make sure something's playing if you open the app). TBH that was my biggest fear with these: Campfire are a fairly niche audio company, and I doubt they have the resources to throw at the usability side that someone like Apple, Sony, or even Sennheiser does.
Going to have to give those ear tips a try too. Interestingly, lack of ANC was actually one of the reasons I went with these, as for whatever reason I really don't get a long with it.
I got bose, bang and olufsen etc etc... Nothing comes close to final ze8000
I have the Melomania 1 and the 1+ TWS earbuds from Cambridge Audio. It sounds like they're doing in the budget space what you hope Campfire Audio buds doesn't do, which is to say they have one or two models focused on sound. They have some audiophile features -- AB amplification, a decent app with EQ, etc., but no ANC or other convenience features. It works for me, mainly because I have the Qudelix 5K to use my good IEMs. They could have gotten several hundred of my dollars if they had something better sounding.
Yes, good points. Im really waiting for a non ANC sound focussed TWS iem.... like a high end one in the $500-$1000 range. I want to see what these companies can do because not everyone needs that ANC.... as I mention i picked up the Linkbuds for about $150.... if i need the ANC ill pick them up....day to day listening id love something refined, spacious and with strong imaging.
Another reason some HiFi TWS earbuds don’t include ANC is that can change the sound when activated. Still, if they plan to charge the big bucks, I think they should come with a decent feature set. Sometimes they tout the lack of features as evidence that the sound is the point but they still don’t sound great.
Yes exactly, especially the way they add that sucked out sound. Thats why i say well done to them for just leaving it out rather that trying to force an inferior implementation. I hope more companies take this line.
