Why are all the best art channels something that pops up randomly in the side bar with like sub 20k views?
Good question haha, happy that my videos managed to pop up in your side bar! :D
Awesome video, Jourdan! Thanks for sharing your design process and showing how you overcome all those challenges :D

Thank you for that video. I was using that tools and brushes many years ago, but when I switched to a new project, I stopped using them, since these tools were no longer necessary for the new style. But these are very cool techniques that should be brought back into my work.

sheeeesh! That smudge technique is something else! I've been using PS for a few years now and that didn't even cross my mind. Thank you for sharing all these techniques with us! Cheers!
I learned it from watching an artist called Darren Bacon years ago and it's stuck with me since, so i've just been building on it since 😁 happy that you find it helpful though!
Interesting way to use smudge tool, thanks
Thank you for this I've been so focused on 'getting it right' that I've forgotten to play in my drawings...
I feel you on that, everything was all about making perfect portfolio pieces for me for a long time that I felt so burned out and lost my joy in making art. Play, and making that space for it is really the key to changing that :) Hope it inspires you to have more fun

Glad you found something new! Happy stamping 😉
thank you for sharing, amazing skill <3
Thank you for watching! 😊
Where do you find reference images? I struggle to find anything worth saving, and am not fond of using pinterest.
What don't you like about Pinterest? That's all I really use, and sometimes Google.
Me being using photoshop since 2012 and have no idea about these tricks 🤡🤡 . Great video, i liked and subscribed 👍
It's easy to overlook them, especially when they have so many settings to play around with that aren't intuitive!
I'm a sucker for when you can just glance at one item and know exactly what culture it belongs to when it shares design elements in fantasy art. Even something more childlike, like say Neopets would do that with their food. So it makes me happy learning about this so I can try my hand at it, it looks like such fun to draw.
That's definitely what I aim for. My analogy is that I want my art to be like good home cooking or street food. Humble, easily enjoyed by all but packed with flavor!
bro that smudge tool tip is a game changer! never seen it used that way
This guy is the definition of efficient!
My photo is there when you look up "efficient" in the oxford dictionary actually
beautiful video, thanks man!
Thanks for showing how you use these brushes. Too often I see creators just dump theirs on the internet without explanation, when the entire magic of brushes comes from how and when they are used.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll aim to put in more context to how the tool is used for future videos!
