I feel like if you really wanted Mika to become a demon for Yuu, you could still keep Yuu's original demon, and rather then immediately revealing Mika can be gotten back you could just give hints throughout Yuu's grief of Mika bit by bit as a puzzle for the readers. And also yeah Yuu is such a terrible character, I just took the concepts from the manga and try and fix them and apply because why is Yuu so soooooo mean and selfish and yet seen as selfless in the story, like the anime somehow did a good thing by not making a third season cause I feel like I can't help but realllyyyyyyy hope the manga starts to get better or mabey they can't bring all of their loved ones back mabey, or something that feels new and permanent and has consequences, like Mika being Yuu's demon could be really fun and interesting but due to the way their characters were written to get to that point I just don't want to give myself false hope

Zyuranger was the first season i watched. Despite its flaws i loved it and fell in love with the franchise.

Yeah, the fandom kinda overhypes how dark Jetman can be at times. It definitely has its dark elements...but I feel like the fandom kinda has a habit of forgetting that Tomato King, Hairdryer Dimension & Cup Noodle Dimension exist.

I disagree with you on the not dark part the show is dark in some ways

When you watch many of the first 34 seasons (I'd recommend you Dairanger, Gingaman, GoGo V, Timeranger, Hurricaneger, Abaranger, Dekaranger, Magiranger, Gekiranger, Shinkenger) go watch Gokaiger, it's a LOVE LETTER to the franchise and it really feels like a climax to 35 years of Super Sentai.

Zyuranger is pronounced as Jooranger. Also fun facts: Stan Lee originally tried to bring Sentai to America in the 80s with Sun Vulcan. The reasoning is Marvel made a deal with Toei. Toei could make a Spider-Man toku series and Marvel would co-produce Super Sentai. The first Marvel influence was actually Ms. America in Battle Fever J. Without Stan Lee and Spider-Man Super Sentai and by proxy Power Rangers wouldn't have giant robots. Jetman was supposed to be the first series in Power Rangers but no networks were interested hence Zyuranger being used.

i watched jetman in 90s,the last sentai that aired in the philippines when it replaced by power rangers because it much cheaper because there no need to dub.

Honestly, dude, Jetmam is a great starting point for a new sentai fan. Also, fun fact Mmpr was not the first time someone tried to adapt super sentai. After Stan "The Man" Lee spent time in Japan to work on the contract to do the Japanese Spider-Man series (Which is also why we get mecha in sentai) he saw the sentai running at the time which was Sun Vulcan and Stan was loved sentai so much he tried to Dub over the sentai footage completely no American footage at all but that got Scrapped so he tried again years later using a different sentai called Bioman which did get a intro filmed and some of the characters names in the failed Bioman adaptation were used for the names of mmpr most notably being the character of Jason Scott who was originally going to be played by huge martial arts actor Mark Dacascos

I dont understand these opinions that a film needs to be just as good or greater than what came just before it to be considered worth ones time. It is almost like chasing a drug high, needs to hit hrader than before. I went i to this film not expecting it to be better than any of the original 3 films. I saw the animation and thought they were rotoscoping alot, which struck me as charming, as thats what Bakshi did for his film. Its like there's an identity they wanted to try and imitate. Kinda like how Jackson (a producer for this film) recreated some of Bakshi's scenes for his own films.

Do you mean the King became fcking Batman in one situation? Or Hera when leading away an elephant? The king has the blood of Ancients so he is meant to be built different. And the Elephant thing was very clever, like seriously that was a good idea, and messed up.

I was 14 when I first watched Jetman in 2010. It was the first Sentai season to make me actually appreciate the stories over the action. Just really loved the dynamic between Red Hawk and Black Condor.

Just finished the the anime (and the end of evangelion) and rebuild movies, personally I loved the rebuild movies so much more. The anime was so slow and I just couldn’t get over how sexual it was at times that just didn’t make sense and I didn’t agree with especially with children. The rebuilds felt like this it was the anime should have been. I could never recommend the anime but I totally would recommend the movies

watch it last year really love it idk why then i recheck its toshiki inoue work. i really love most of his work like KAMEN RIDER AGITO / DONBROTHERS / KAMEN RIDER FAIZ / BLADE MISSING ACE. if you like jetman you really like this writing style.

The fun part is there's no ending for ryuki ,the always reset to another timeline.

Funny that they dubbed Kamen Rider Dragon Knight into Japanese

I had been told the same by the toku community about Kamen Rider Black being dark. Outside some themes its very much a fun showa kids focused monster of the week show. Really enjoyable, but not as dark and edgy as they described. I haven't watched Jetman, but i bought the dvd and its on my watchlist this year.

here's my take: Rebuild does what EVA wanted to, and better, and then follows it up with the impossibility of making a sequel without invalidating the existence of the TV or End of Eva Movie timelines and explaining why both of those could be real without stepping on each other's toes.

I love the original series, and The End Of Evangellion is a fantastic ending for the series. That being said, I personally liked the Rebuild Of Evangellion films even more.

Also, Nexus would be a great gate for new Ultraman fan

Fun fact! Jetman is Toshiki Inoue's first debut as a head writer for a drama series and is often considered his crown jewel! Since then he has worked on many, many other Toei Tokusatsu series with... varying qualities. You'll be seeing him a lot on your journey through both Sentai and KR's eras. Oh and btw, Gai's actor actually went to a PowerMorphincon once so you should definitely check that out.

I'm glad the anime ended on a high note (of course a season 3 would be nice 🙂). It was a nice reminder of how great this series is.

I'm not affiliated with them, but you may want to check out the Tokushoutsu channel here on UA-cam, which is streaming more than few super sentai, Kamen Rider, Ultraman, etc. series. Kakuranger is my favorite so far, but ninja and Japanese mythology are an easy sell for me.

The same way I like anime and dislike EoE, I like 1.0-3.0 movies and hate 3.0+1.0 with all my passion. Thats just horrible movie and ruins everything. Dont understand how he got so much praise.

You clearly dont understand why people calling this series dark, you can say that it's not because you just watched it and you got decentisized what dark is, we watched this as a kid, we warch with glee seeing superheroes who fight evil and eventually win at the end , and as a kid seeing a superhero that seem cant be beaten by swords and beam got killed by human with a mere knife, that is dark the horror i witness first time seeing that,its a tug to my stomach and still cant accept that actually happen
