Thank you for this!! Learning to be aware and practice compassionate change is helpful. I have named characters of my mind as well! I have even started acquiring little stuffed animals to represent them. This playfulness really eases things - gets me out of my head!

Thank you for your excellent content. I have had ME/CFS for over 20 years. Just starting to have a little recovery following these teaching over the last 2 weeks. Just a suggestion. I had trouble listening to the tone of your voice. It's not your voice! lol. It will be your microphone. I ran a recording studio before I became ill. Now music and certain tones make me nauseas and trigger headaches. A little post-processing. A subtle boost around 1k to 4k might make a huge difference in clarity. Or just try another mic. See what you think. Or just ignore this lol. Thank you so much for the work you do!

Consider that if we let worry overtake us and drain our energy, we have less capacity to be helpful. Not easy I know - I am dealing with similar issues currently, but know I have to be calm for them.. Hoping you find your way with these issues.

REALLY love this! I can relate to running away for sure. The strong tension I was feeling in my solar plexus area just melted away after listening to this practice. Thank you for sharing!

Prefer “The Stay Technique” the name works well as it’s the opposite of the runaway.
