❤. Simon, did u start getting better b4 u did the frightening process or only after ? and did you have to work at it for a long time and tailor how u used it for yourself personally or did u get better and then see that different people needed to use the techniques differently for them ? hope that makes sense
@JacquiQ hi! I made slow progress before - I was still pretty susceptible to overdoing it and fragile. I had to work at it and tailor it, and later added strategies, to help get to the roots of issues. I could have progressed more quickly with the right support. Many people need to do it in a way that works for them. Let me know if that answers your questions.
Looping thoughts ...example ...u know when yr brain goes over and over and over the same issue/problem/worry trying to figure t out or solve it and yet it never actually gets solved ? And u just want to stop thinking abt it . Its like your brain wants t solve stuff all the time. I don't know if this is the same as ruminating ?
@JacquiQ can you give me an example of this (only if you want to?) Ruminating is defined as 'Repetitive thinking or dwelling on negative feelings and distress and their causes and consequences. The repetitive, negative aspect of rumination can contribute to the development of depression or anxiety and can worsen existing conditions." by www.psychiatry.org/ - so, yes I'd say it's similar...
