Ben will Always be a Legend, His looks put most men to shame, and his talent was unmatched. I had so many fond memories listen to the CARS. RIP hope to meet you one day.

Just stumbled onto this video. It makes me thankful that I was able to be around when this better than most bands called the Cars released their first album. It changed the game for sure. I miss them and the wonderful music they played. What a great video talking about Ben. He left way too quick. Thanks Elliot for sharing this with us, oh and by the way you my brother are one helluva guitarist.

I’ve seen this movie a million times since I was a little kid and I never even heard a song playing in the background. Is this real or is this edited? Now I’m gonna have to watch the movie again.

I have a serious question for everyone...how on earth did the rest of the guys in the band stand so close to Ben without fainting? I would have been drooling had I been that close to him! Of course being a woman I suppose that does make a small difference! LOL

He is still here all around us. I'm sure he is smiling down on all the fans Now Rick passed away in 2018. The last time he was seen when they were induction to the hall of fame in 2018. I'm sure he and Rick are making music in heaven. My favorite song is by by love and moving in stero let's go. Someday we will all meet in heaven till then RIP TO BOTH OF YOU

If only we could go back in time and warn him about his cancer. Most likely he didn't even know about it yet as pancreatic cancer is so deadly.

I have always known Ric wrote this song but letting Benjamin sing it was the right choice. It was perfect for him. I did not expect much from Ric singing this song. Boy was I wrong. He brought real soul. Really made us feel the longing. Bravo.

Had a dream about Ben Orr last night. Hard to believe he's been gone 24 years....This was just 2 years before his passing. His voice was as strong as ever....He is so missed...Thanks so much for posting this. His/Cars fans are grateful!

Man, the musicianship, the songwriting, the style, such great taste... does it get any better than the Cars in their prime? I never got to see them live, so thank the maker they thought to record this show! I only wish someone had filmed more - more tours, more songs. They capture a good bit of the first album here, and even 3 off Candy-O. I wanted to see them do more of that album, and also the Panorama / Shake It Up period, and I see you posted some other videos. I'll take whatever I can find, and this is about as good as it gets. Thank you for posting this!

My heavens they were good. Way ahead of the pack in terms of tunes and ability to play live. Been listening to a lot of their live recordings on UA-cam and I wonder who could match them.

The Cars were such a terrific band. I think John appreciated their approach to music, new wave mixed with pop and a sprinkle of 50’s flavor. They were five extremely talented musicians lead by a wonderful songwriter Ric Ocasek. Like The Beatles, a shame they didn’t stay together longer.

Mark Goodman came across as a jerk. Wonder what happened to him.

Such a great person and geniune. I've been trying for awhile to learn to play the guitar. I'm okay but I lack the dexterity and ability to move around and play at different octaves. It took a while and now the basic theory makes sense to me. But he does the changes, riffs, timing, tempo so perfectly. It makes me appreciate all that he has contributed to music even more.

It breaks my heart, he was so loved and so sadly missed. A great voice, a talented unassuming rockstar, gracious in the face of death. What an incredible man, a true icon. Love you Ben x
