Thank you for finding these gems! I especially love the early time of the Cars. They seemed to have more fun, the voices were genuine, and the fame and record companies hadn't ruined everything. This was the Golden Age. And Benjamin was amazing! His voice was awesome, so handsome... ~sigh~
This always the best period to see an up and coming in their infancy before managers, and recorded companies get involved. I always feel it’s when they’re at their purest .
What's crazy is that Elvis, the king of rock n roll, died 3 days after this concert. Rock n Roll was safe with The Cars taking off around this time, I truly mean that. I love this band so much
So much to love about this, but right off the bat, Elliott’s guitar! My husband has always hated “pop” music but he and his band buddies have always worshipped Elliott Easton. Now one of those old band buddies gets to “be” Elliott on occasion at some of his shows.
Thanks! I recognize all the other band members but the guy with moustache, white belt, strawberry blonde hair and guitar, who is he? Greg sometimes played guitar but he doesn’t look like Greg.
