- Milkwood consisted of Ric Ocasek (Richard Otcasek), Jim "Jas" Goodkind, and Benjamin Orr (Orzechowski). The band landed a record deal with Paramount and recorded their one and only album, How's the Weather, in the fall of 1972. "Along the Way" is track 8 of 10.

Rock on! ~ Donna
БОЖЕСТВЕННЫЙ ГОЛОС БЕНА БУДУТ СЛУШАТЬ ВЕКАМИ! ТАЛАНТ ЛЕГЕНДА! 🇸🇮🇸🇮👍
Love this, the mellow music the vocals everything. I would title this picture “ The Boys of Summer “, from a Dylan Thomas poem.
Donna, wouldn’t it be fun to know where this photo was taken?! I grew up and still live in Massachusetts…if this was taken the year Ben & Ric moved to Boston (‘72 I understand), perhaps it is a Massachusetts beach! Which being a nerd, would be cool for me haha!!! Anyway, thanks for posting these great Milkwood songs. ❤
Ha, I had the same thought. Mass girl here as well. I imagine if they lived in the Somerville area at the time (acc to Jim Goodkind) the closest (and somewhat decent) beach might have been Revere. Somehow I like to think they’re somewhere down the Cape.
@@kelseymariel2127 I thought about Revere too! But since I’ve always gone “down the Cape,” I would also love to think of them hanging out down there!
After listening to several of the songs by Milkwood, I do like the guitar work very much, but I am disappointed that their songs are lacking in any melodies.
