Like most everyone else, I do all the cutting and prep ahead of time, and it pays off immensely. We're on Level 2 of AAR and Level 1 of AASp with my first kiddo (and also completed Level 1), and it makes completing lessons so, so easy each week. Plus, now I'm ready for Kiddo #2 to use it in a few years.
I also have prepped all about reading 1 & 2 and all about spelling 1. It will be only used for one child, but the resale value almost pays for the next set. 🙌
I was saying through the screen…..”do the cutting now!!!!” for the very reasons you stated. 😊 It is a labor of love prepping All About Reading but once all the prep is done, it is very much an open and go curriculum that I have loved using with two of my four children! I did use the letter tiles app with my second child to use this program and that was nice to not have to manage all the tiles, but the tiles are certainly a huge part of the program and very fun for the student to use. I hope this goes well with Ezra. This is one of my favorite curriculums of all time ❤
Agree. We did all the prep for aar 1, and we went great. This year I was lazy and only tear the pages and organized them in binder for level 2. A lot of the time my son is going through the lessons quickly then I planned, sometimes two lessons a day, and I was running out of the ones that I prepared weekly. 😂
