I was literally just thinking about you yesterday and hoping all was okay, so it was so exciting to see this pop up today!!! Welcome back! You were missed!
I have a 9th grader, and I grade every day. As assignments are complete, he puts them on my desk. I try to make sure all the assignments for that day are graded, so they have feedback, especially in math. That's just what works for us. So many ways to do it!
Yay! I'm so glad to see you guys back! You're homeschooling tips have influenced me in a great way over the the past few years, especially with using unit studies. :)
We like our ground beef in little bits too, so I cook it in the crock pot. Add one cup water to six pounds ground beef, stir every 30 minutes. Makes PERFECT ground beef (well, at least to the picky pickies in my crew).
So happy your back. I would love to see more high school content on curriculum choices etc…. There just isn’t a lot of info out there on homeschooling the high school years . 😊❤️
🎊🎉glad your back!! I've graduated two. I kept grades old school style, pen and paper until it was time to place it on transcript. I used the transcript service thru HSLDA once they were at the end of 11th grade, the used it thru 12th grade. You get the service for 12 months
I have a really hard time keeping up on grading! When my oldest was in 9th grade, she started being trustworthy enough to check over her own work, and then I would sit down with her periodically to go over it with her. Now that she is in 11th grade, the majority of her work is her college classes, so some of that is off my plate, at least for one child!😅
Brilliant cooking method of just cooking once to make multiple meals. We don’t have an extra freezer, but even if I just did this once in a while it would be so handy for nights I don’t feel like cooking.
Absolutely! I’ve even found that having cooked taco meat or something similar stashed in a freezer ziplock bag can be faster than take out and doesn’t take up too much space.
