I’ll have a high schooler in one year, so I’m watching all the videos to gain some knowledge and be more prepared. Loved this one! Keep sharing info on classes and how you count credits!
Yes! My 15yo son loves to listen in on ALL the read alouds. I don't have to require it of him; he gets upset if I tell him he can't listen (which I've only done once and never again once I realized just how much he loved it).
I think loading up the credits early is a great idea! That's what I have done so far, and it is allowing my upcoming 12th grader to get all her college prerequisites out of the way before nursing school, and she'll be working in her field part time next year. She has all the high school credits she needs, so that has been extremely helpful for her.
I really appreciate having this content. I've been watching you for several years as I homeschool kiddos now in 4th, 9th and 11th grade. I love have honest and thorough you are! Thank you for what you do. I'd absolutely love more high school videos and eagerly await seeing anything you have share.
My highschooler already does well with life skills but my rising 7th grader will be doing it in high school so thank you for the mention of the home ec book
I am thrilled that you showed that Berean Builders offers a video class lecture! I had no idea this existed! We did Berean Builders Biology for 9th grade with a co-op this past year. This year we may be doing Chemistry on our own since the co-op is moving to a simpler direction of Chemistry and I wondered how I would pull this off. Thanks for the tip!
Thank you for posting this! Do you mind doing a video on how you schedule his year out? Also, will he be taking advantage of the Ohio College Credit Plus program?
Can you go into more detail about how and when you check in with your high schooler? Is this just randomly throughout the day? Do you have scheduled times to remind yourself to go see how he's doing? Do you sit down once a week together and plan out his week? Maybe you could address this in a future video.
I can't believe your oldest two are already in high school! My oldest is 8th grade this coming year. She started the CC Challenge program for 7th grade and it was a wonderful fit for her so she will be doing Challenge B this year. I enjoyed seeing what Noah will be doing this year and look forward to your other curriculum videos too. I am leaning heavily towards Math U See with my younger two as I have heard MUS is great especially for those that need lots of repetition. I am going to be using Masterbooks K with them this year just because I am familiar with that curriculum and I need something easy to implement this year.
We are going into our fourth year homeschooling and my daughter will be a junior. She doesn’t know for sure what she wants to do after high school, but we are doing the college prep plan too. She will actually have enough credits to graduate the end of her junior year, but we aren’t graduating her early.
would love to hear how you grade and transcript. do you do it regularly? How do you manage that.Would also love your take on the BJU language. great video thank you
My daughter is going into 10th grade and we are using some of the Notgrass books for economics. We will do home economics when she goes into 11th or 12th have those skills fresh for when she leaves.
So glad I came across your channel! We are new to homeschooling I have a 10th grader, as well as a 1st grader. 1st grader has ASD not sure where to start but I’m determined to make it work for us! I want my 10th grader to have a great experience and actually enjoy school so I need to make it “fun” I’m looking for local homeschool group to connect him with as well as local art lessons and Spanish. He is also interested in coding, I’m not sure if there is a curriculum for that? Looking forward to more content on high school as well as homeschooling for children with special needs ❤
I'd love to hear what you thought of BJU Spanish... my son will start foreign language in 11th grade, and I can't decide if we'll use BJU or if we'll try dual enrollment with a Christian college in our area.
I’ve homeschooled 3 high schoolers so far, and over the years I have always joked that only homeschool moms would buy dead animals to be delivered to their homes. 🤣
Hello, I’m new here I’ve homeschooled my children when they were in Elementary, my daughter is having trouble adjusting she’s a Junior, can anyone let me know where can she take the SAT? So she’ll be able to attend college or does she need the SAT to enter college..I’m at a lost can someone please help ❤
My daughter has been drawing since she was little. She absolutely blows me away. I have been looking for an art elective for her for high school. Artistic Pursuits looks perfect for her! Thank you!
Yes, more high school content. All of it! Lol. I’d greatly appreciate videos on transcripts and giving credits.
Yes, to transcripts and record keeping, all of it!

Yes, I would greatly appreciate more content on high school….transcripts, grading, etc! All things homeschool high school!!😁
I like your method of front loading highschool credits so that he has more time and freedom to get a job etc. Brilliant! ❤
Thank you! 😃
Yes!! Please share all the things about transcripts!! I’m most nervous about that! My oldest will be in 10th grade in the fall.
Love this! Yes, all of the middle school/high school content please!
Thanks so much lady. Please please do a review on the BJU Spanish. 🌸

Sarah I understand your life on so many levels! I’m a mom of four. Oldest 18 and youngest is 2. Thanks for a peek into your current curriculum!

I want to hear a lot more about homeschooling high schoolers! Thank you for any info you can give.
Thank you so much for the high school years!!!! 💖

Yes please talk about how you do credits and create a transcript please :) love your content Sarah ❤
Thank you!
We've picked the same Biology curriculum for my rising 9th grader!
We are starting high school a bit early, because I don’t want them to have a ton at the end. Love high school content! Thank you!

'Manual to manhood" is a book i got to cover life skills this year with my teen and it looks great if you need another resource
I'll check it out!
I have a 10th grader this year too :)
Definitely more homeschooling through HS!!
I'd love to hear what you thought of BJU Spanish... my son will start foreign language in 11th grade, and I can't decide if we'll use BJU or if we'll try dual enrollment with a Christian college in our area.
Just follow the IB curriculum. Please.
Yes please, all things high school!
I’ve homeschooled 3 high schoolers so far, and over the years I have always joked that only homeschool moms would buy dead animals to be delivered to their homes. 🤣
🤣
Do you include Bible on transcripts?
Yep!
Does Berean Builders include video labs if you don't want to do the physical labs?
I’m not sure. I know they also have a microscope lab option if you’d rather not do the dissections (but they’re more expensive)

Please make more high-school content. There is not nearly enough info out there.
Do you have a video on spelling you see?
I’ve done reviews on levels A and D

Awesome lineup! You are my homeschool mom clone! My daughter just moved onto 11th grade and we used 80% of the same titles!
More high school
