You said you can use this for the s90d, seems sun disappears at 16 clicks. Do I have a option turned on of off preventing me from still seeing it at 21 clicks?

Hey I just turned on my a95l this morning to find thin horizontal pinstripes along the screen when its on, along with some discoloration and some blooming. Its still watchable, but i was just curious if you knew how to fix this or if my panel is just screwed? The night before it was fine, just this morning i noticed it. I tried, power cycling, I tried, factory reset, I manually did the pixel refresh before leaving for work, nothing helped. I've only had this tv for a month.

Got this on my S90D. I'm wondering if there's a way to uninstall builtin apps through here, disable the app buttons on the TV remote and/or swap them to a source button instead.

So one thing nobody talks about is in its smoothness, the LG is better in that regard. I have bad stigmatism, so my eye becomes bothered if it’s not liquid smooth. I’m sorry but Sony is just not as good when things are in motion and panning. It pulls me out of the experience every time. Over and over again.

Saying that you obviously haven't seen s95d live. The light diffusion from that anti glare panel is terrible. I'll stick with glass screens.

That’s why I hate when they started making the family consoles like a pc ! Glitches and server issues ! Why my tv doesn’t show 120fps on game mode the tv is a Samsung OLED capable of 144 hz and also the ps5 only showing 60 hz refresh rate is there any way that my tv can show 120fps when I’m on game mode ?

What is the peak HDR brightness in game mode on this tv? I heard it's more dim in game mode compared to other presets.

Skin tones look off with bt2020. Like a waxy, artificial look. Anyone have a fix for getting them right. Tried all recommended cms settings in bt2020 custom but can’t get the image to look right.

yes i like the older one . The bright light in background looks like its not tone mapping properly on new firmware . Im sticking with old frimware . My tv has the 5/2024 and it looks better tonemapping.

I have the S95B on FW 1622 (with MaxLux1 at 138) and for me the sun already disappears at 16 clicks. Why is that? HGIG is on and contrast enhancer is off.

Only the US firmware notes mention these changes. 112.606.020.1 and 112.607.020.1 in germany mention completly different stuff. Even on the corosponding sony websites. No mention of HDR tone mapping and DTS-HD audio.

So how bright is the s95b in game hdr mode on firmware 1640? I have not done the maxlux or whatever mod so how high should it be because i can't find anything about the peak brightness only that it was 1500 nitz 2 years ago and that they nerfed it.
