Yeah, I haven’t seen any issues with the 1602 firmware update. If anything, it’s been the greatest update I’ve seen so far! It was definitely the longest download I’ve ever had for a Samsung firmware update, as this one took a few minutes, instead of the usual few seconds, but the picture and color now look fantastic! I couldn’t be happier with my Samsung S95B! I feel like I finally now have the TV that Samsung claimed they were selling me all along! 🙂
That’s great to hear! For most people, there shouldn’t be any issues, but I did notice the motion part, and I have to mention anything I see good or bad just in case someone else encounters it.

Hi! No, the Service Menu Hack method hasn't changed regardless of the current firmware or any previous one. It will be the same method that I have in one of my videos out showing you how to access the Service Menu.
For the most part, the image quality is so good, I would do the update. You can most likely tweak the motion with a higher Judder setting over 3 (say 4-5).

Probably 1602 is a return to brightness from 1430 fw (over 30 nits difference). If you don't have bt problems if they don't occur stay on the 1430. I'm probably right because Samsung something was broken and now fixed a bit. How is the HDR colour accuracy on the 1602, better than the 1430?
The HDR color accuracy is definitely way better on 1602....it's almost completely spot accuracy wise. You would definitely see a difference in that area. With a clean install, I don't see any loss updating to 1602 minus motion slightly. If you're happy with a current firmware version, you can always stay on that version though, but I don't really see any losses from any previous version firmware including 1430, and you'll really love the menu layout and fluid motion of everything. It's your call at the end of the day though.

I have an AppleTV4K over HDMI and I have a question: does dynamic HDR10+ work over HDMI2.1?, because there are a lot of comments on the web, to have dynamic HDR you only have to use the internal app on Tizen. There are also comments on the web that version 1602 disconnects Q-Symphony after a few hours of use. What is the truth?
Hi! Yes you can apply the Service Menu mods on the S90C, S89C, and S95C. As for the 2024 S90D and S95D, this has yet to be seen by anyone until they’re released.
@@jeffersonrodriguez8008 It actually benefits all the models. You can essentially turn the S90C & S89C into a S95C by doing the service menu mods. Regarding the S95C, you mainly unlock the brightness even more. For the most part, it’s safe to do these mods, but please keep in mind that you assume all risk by doing this for any of these models.
1602 is better regardless of any Service Menu Hacks applied, Calibration, or anything done/not done. I highly recommend 1602 over any other firmware version out.

This latest update 1602 has ruined my qn90b in game mode, the games in HDR look terrible, the sound is lower, I don't notice the brightness of the HDR, Samsung please I don't want to buy the qn90c

I believe Samsung is still doing with the S95B and Older QLEDs as they did previously with updates.....this update was primarily for the S95B, but was rolled out to multiple models, so most likely, Samsung will issue another update to fix the issues you're experiencing on your QN90B. Hang tight as I'm sure a fix update is on the way!
Along with motion,dimmer as always with every update,gaming HDR ruined,blacks scenes not visible,highlights too bright,blurry spots come and go,flickering that hurts me and my daughter's eyes,eye comfort mode blurry and unusable. Samsung automatically ran this update on my TV. somehow without me even knowing and atleast gaming was usable before now it's worse. Samsung's obsolescence is working on me but I'll never buy another Samsung especially with the worst customer support.

What's be better firmware ver. 1503 with hack maxlux, or 1602 with had maxlux?
