Thanks OP for that informative video. Seems like no one talks about drains or sewers backing up but that would surely happen. I would locate the clean out on the line going out and install a valve of some kind or just cap or plug it.

The clean out won't do it. It is just a tap into the line, not a place to stop it up.

The pulse only lasts for less than a few minutes, what you don't know is when the second or third pulse is detonated. This is planned to take out any gear that you had protected previously but is out in the open now. An hour or week later who knows.

Good Morning OP I'm wonding how long after the last EMP strike does one have to wait before using any electronic device that they have protected in a faraday bags/ cage

The damaging affects of an EMP happens within hundredths of a second, but there is no way to know if there would be follow up EMPs afterward. The best protection of course is a faraday cage, but you should also have backups to your backups that stay in the cage for days or weeks afterward.
