Why is removing Microsoft Edge Not Recommended? I remove it every time it's installed. I want a way to stop Microsoft Edge from installing itself completely! It's so intrusive. Far too much clutter on it too. I like Google Chrome. It's easy on the eye, and there is no clutter.

After inserting my usb with the rts folder in it, it won't show the other folders inside the RTS fold and when I ejected the usb and transferred it to another working laptop, it seems that all contents on the rts folders are deleted 😢 can someone help me?

For anyone who is a normal PC user. Never ever run/install a random script in powershell that downloads and runs something from the internet. Unless your ABSOLUTELY SURE you know what you are doing. Its the fastest way to get your pc infected with all kinds of nasty shit. Yes this tool is pretty nice for basic windows users (non powerusers/developers). But the way this app is distributed is like nails on a chalkboard security wise.

when I reach to the window to choose between Deny and Allow, I cannot click on one of them. I guess it is because of the arrangement of the window that there is no option to be able to click on them. How to fix this problem to be able to click on Allow?

This is cool and all, but without a ui tool that automatically customizes the file and lets you know what all the stuff is (like, explanation tooltips), this is kind of useless to me. I'd like to get rid of the stuff I don't need but there's probably a lot of windows features that I don't know the name of that I do need, that would get removed with this.

This can prove handy later. My current laptop came with w11, first thing I did was to install my own custom w10 image, second was a linux dual boot. I'm only opening win to use the rare software that ran better/only on ms win. I hopefully won't need to downgrade from w10 to w11 late '25, but you never know.

I would not recommend removing edge as i have done that in the past versions of this chises script, and i had a fault when checking for windows updates, as microsoft has tied up some updates to updating microsoft edge and if you dont have that programe then it rolls back the update and you cant update at all UNTIL you reinstal edge which is also a buggy experience as sometimes when you download edge it says that the windows verion does not have some dll file and it cant run and instal edge. So for normal users dont uninstal edge as that can bug out your microsoft updates. The rest is fine

Funny thing. Ever since I started using PowerToys launcher an then switched to FlowLauncher - I haven't used Start button on the taskbar! As for the context manu, NileSoft Shell is just perfect.

Downloading from other people sites can be dangerous, possible dangerous codes embedded. People are to trusting when following you tubers promoting software.
