In theory if you hesr the beep you are connected, what happends when you click upload? When u want to install the files

@@brandon_30ff hey, in bootloader everything is successful. The problem is tunerpro. The button for initializing hardware is there and I can click it but the button with the arrow for uploading is not available to click. When I click initialize it thinks and then says hardware not available.

Not sure exactly then, if u follow the step by step from connecting to turning on the igniton how I have it it should work. Maybe try deleting tuner pro RT and redownloading it. Close bootloader when trying to connect to tuner pro. Check tunerpro prefrrences. Make sure you click INITALIZE EMULATION HARDWARE, it should pop up after that

@brandon_30ff I have a very similar setup to you. Pure 600s on e40 22psi right now, but I bought port injection with 750cc injectors (i have dual walbro 450s). Just wondering whether I want to go through the process of tuning to start the year or wait. I'm thinking like 24 psi on full e85 so nothing crazy

@@becausereasons41 24 psi will max out the turbos. And it rips really good. Full E and e85 gets you high 6’s low 7’s 60-130.. in a manual. Auto will be better. Good tuner with good fuel. Car will be a blast to drive. My guess it will be 560-580 wheel

@brandon_30ff arent you at 26psi? Also I'm currently ousting in a lower milage transmission (auto) cause I burned through the other one last year, lol, also added a trans cooler this winter. How many weeks did it take to get your tune right? Any suggestions?

@becausereasons41 24psi on full e. Duty cycle is about 70%. If you go with wedgeperformance sometimes ur waiting like a week for a revision it kind of sucks..But everybody goes to him, one of the best in the game. But with his price increases im probably going through a different route when i go single turbo. Im thinking abouf Cd919, talked to him through email. Seems like a nice guy. And his prices are more budget friendly

I have a BPM manifold so i was able to put the correct adapter for the blow off valve, if u have the stock manifold, i would look into VS MAP SENSOR TO BOV LINE ADAPTER. If you want the vaccum hose to remain the same length. If not then im pretty sure VRSF ships out an adapter/reducer to connect to the stock smaller nipple on the intake. Hope that helps !

.BIN is the tune XDF defines the tune. For example the tables ADX is dataloging HEX is the firmware for the reflex, which u should upload it in bootloader. When u LOAD tunerpro RT it should show BIN XDF ADX. Hope that makes sense.

Simply just to install the firmware. Into the reflex so it programs.

@@giotrujillo360715 yes correct. UNLESS you do a software update u may need to upload the xdf. When you open tuner pro you’ll be able to see the files on the top of the screen. It should say what bin/xdf/and i forgot the last one.

@@brandon_30ff yeah if you can get it off the line so far on 2 passes with the current set up and draggy on the street my best 60ft is 2.2. Mine is manual as well running 12.53 @ 122 mph on street tires conti extreme contact 2. Using the draggy I haven't run the 60-130 just yet curious on the tune and turbo differences. 17t fbo e40 doc vu tuned 22.6 psi. I'll run a 60-130 to compare. Lmk if your interested in hearing the difference. I may post on my UA-cam page as well for reference. Thanks for the video.

@@htcustomz we should be around the same then. 17t’s e40 with a good tuner should be low 7’s. I got a retune with updated port jnjection maps and im runninf 7.2’s consistently. I wish i went with the 17’ts but i bought these pure 600’s 4-5 years ago. 17t’s and 19ts weren’t really that reputable yet.

I bought it off ecstuning. But i think aeroplug sells a better one. Look up e92 amuse front bumper. I am lowered on coilovers but man the bumper really does sit low. So if ur trying to slam it i wouldnt buy it. My car isn’t that low but it looks really nice. If i could do it all over again i would go with the areoplug one. There’s a piece to add on to the undershield from the ecstuning brand and it kinda sucks not going to lie bro. But if you have anymore questions feel free to ask!

I looked at both bunper from plug and ecstuning. The ecs have a long plastic thing thag look like a lip almost. I'm assuming that the thing your talking about goes under ur bunper? Im gussing with that piece , rain and debris don't get inside?? I'm new to this I'm not familiar with some car terminology. Btw does the bumper bolt up to the plastic skid shield under the car ?

@jameslee1374 its kind of hard to explain without showing pictures. 1.yes that goes under the bumper 2.derbies dont get inside with that piece 3. It does bolt up the the bumper but you need to install that plastic shield from the ecsbrand, becauze the aftermarket bumper sticks out a lot more, i feel like the areo one doen’t stick out as much, they state that everything bolts up to the stock parts

@@brandon_30ff so is this normal ? I see a lot of people saying it don’t smell. But my stinks so bad. It gives me headaches. But I think these people don’t live in LA where traffic is bad. We do more time stopped than driving. Or do I have a leak ? It sounds terrible and loud too. Very raspy and cheap like some young punk with no money going straight pipe. These videos on UA-cam don’t sound nothing like mine. Or is it that Bmw did a lot of changes on the newer n54 since mine is the first n54 version pre lci too . Your thoughts?

@@TheTruelakersfan i mean i personally dont think any n54 sounds good straught pipe. Your concern of the smell makes me think you dont have secondary 🐱. I feel like if there’s a leak then i would imagine you would have 02 sensor faults if there was a leak at where the downpipe meets the exhaust. But yeah sitting in traffic that smell will get to you. My car does stink but im usually in highway and there’s not much traffic when im out driving. Espcially out in my area. Hope that helps! Let me know if you have other questions, im here to talk lol

@@brandon_30ff thanks bro your input really helps. And yea I have no codes and least not yet I have haven’t flashed it yet with MHD. Car is fully stock and been told I will get a check engine light until I do.

How long have you had the DP on for? I’m very surprised it doesn’t have a check engine light I would still download MHD and hook up to it because without a license, you can still see if the car is currently flashed the Apple store tell you what version of what Map file that has.

1. I just wanted to keep it simple as possible for most people who are wondering how a secondary fuel pump works. 2. I didnt want to have to pay my tuner extra money to go and modify tables to have the reflex control the secondary fuel pump when my tune was already dobe. The things you have to consider is will it work? Is it effective? Can i do this without messing up? I will eventually do the reflex to control my secondary fuel pump down the road when i eventually go single turbo.

Either try buying it used online. Or buying driver and passenger headlights on amazon!

Not sure. From what i seen with the docrace mintake manifold it changed the fitment of the manifold. So i would imagine you need to get a different chargepipe. I just settled with the BPM it looks good, keeps that same stock look. But the DocRace looks really good with a top mount turbo. Its your call.

@@mikespeed3928 if you want to run port injection yes you need a controller, i used motiv reflex. you can run the manifold without out the injectors, you just need the injector dummy plugs to go in its plaxe.

Yes tune was needed. Along with a port injection controller. And it probably added 50hp on pump gas and more on full e85.. its so worth it. Get a good tuner !
