It's actually funny that you say that because I think a lot of us realize that more when we were in school going to high school and stuff like that because I know my school was a melting pot I know in my school we never judged anyone by their skin color we judge people by how they acted yeah we may have seen certain people as jocks or nerds or whatever because of how they looked but it was never racial it was never the tone of their skin yet as we grow up we're told certain things that make us see skin color everywhere especially nowadays I remember no one cared about skin color until I was like 27 yet you have kids growing up today was being taught in junior high that if they have a certain skin color they're a victim if they have a certain skin color they're racist because they're just born that way it's sad and it reminds me a lot of certain native American tribes being raised native American because of my grandmother's side being half Cherokee and half Choctaw but having white skin I saw a lot of native Americans especially when I was a teenager teaching their kids to just hate white people for no reason other than something bad happened to them in their life and that's actual systemic hatred unlike the bullshit that people claim nowadays when I was going to Job corps to get my computer degree I remember there is this kid Jamal he was my best friend he wanted us to call and James because he didn't like the fact that his family his parents we're trying to teach him and his little sister to hate people based on the color of their skin and I should you not because his father when he was a teenager was overlooked for a promotion and a white guy was promoted instead so they tried teaching their children that white people are evil and racist and hateful yet his best friend which was me was white and his little sister's best friend was a white girl and he said that if that's how his parents are going to treat people based on their skin color than he'd rather not be of their ethnicity or biology so he started going by James and it was really disgusting to hear the shit that his parents would call him because of that I remember one day at Job corps they came by and I was walking out of the cafeteria which was right across from the front area where you sign in or sign people out and they wanted the "wannabe whitey" and then they called him the white n-word add me and him got to talking because hearing them say shit like that to him I snapped at them and my mom ended up taking him home but she brought him over to our place to have dinner and me and him got to talking and that's how I found out all this stuff and me and him both had family issues me and him both tried ending ourselves multiple times because of our family and that day he went from my best friend to essentially my brother until his family ended up bullying him so much that he ended himself he was and will always be my family and I remember one time when I was going to different high school when I found out that he passed my principal called my mom and gave his condolences for her losing his son and when she was wondering what the fuck was going on he found out that I met my friend and he said something similar because our principal was black he literally called him an n-word and said oh he probably died because he's a drug dealer or some shit like that because that's them typical n words and I threatened him right then and there I threw him over his own desk and told him if he ever talks about my brother like that again I will shove my foot so far up his ass he'll lose the limp that he got in a car accident 20 years ago I have heard black people slurred more by black people than I've ever heard white people slur them I've grown up being prejudge because of the color of my skin because of what I was dressed in because of how I've had my haircut with and piercings because I'm a guy because I'm straight because of all sorts of bullshit everyone gets judged because of all sorts of bullshit regardless of your sexuality your ethnicity your skin color your religion it doesn't matter there's always going to be hate in the world just because you are a certain skin color doesn't mean you're going to get more hate people are just blind to the shit that other people go through and nowadays people don't even want to sit down with each other and talk they'd rather virtue signal and protests and be victims instead of finding out they're the same and I think that's what people nowadays are afraid of because once you find out your enemy is the exact same as you you're just another human wishing for the death of another human not a good guy fighting against evil and it's absolutely sad that people left this happen
