49ers got all of those All Pros on that team and can’t afford to pay them all, which would put them $39M over the cap even if the clear space to pay BA. Purdy is a way bigger priority than Aiyuk and he has to get paid first next summer.

This is why I’m glad we have grown ups in the front office now. This team is trying to build a competitive roster and fans want us to trade draft picks and sign a wide receiver to a huge contract. Wide receiver is probably the easiest position to draft and this is a team that had 0 players who made the pro bowl last year. Commander fans are so much like Dan Snyder I don’t know how they hate this dude so much. I feel Adam Peters talked to the 49ers as a courtesy To Jayden but they were never serious about making this ridiculous move. What big name WR did CJ Stroud have when they drafted him?
