To keep it a buck, without the injuries early in his career Penex would the number 2 QB in the draft. If medical is great, I wouldn’t be surprised if they trade back and pick him between 5-11. Not saying it’ll happen but it’s going to be hard for teams to pass him up

I think Brian Johnson is here just in case Kliff doesnt pan out. He'll take the offensive coordinator responsibilities or could be here if Kliff has great success and gets a head coaching job. Ether way, I think Brian Johnson is here for both reasons.

So he played with a great coach and he played in a nfl system. He was such a “great” quarterback that they basically had him as a game manager and told him just don’t turn the ball over. Stop letting the media manipulate you. This dude is far from the second best quarterback in the draft.
I want jayden Daniels especially since I was a big rg3 fan and I wished it faired better with him but with jj Mccarthy he was limited due to him playing in Harbaugh system however I just think jayden is the best qb in the draft.
I think DQ had choices at OC, and picked KK for a reason. Get rid of the ball, stretch the field, don't be predictable. Who we pick as QB will mean a lot. I still think McCarthy is in play here. He is a game manager, we don't want mistakes starting with INTs. One of the reasons Howell is gone. We will be using our RBs and TEs more this year. We need olinemen that can plow as well as block. The hope is the defense keeps us in games, gives offense more chances to sustain drives and keep the other team's offense off the field. We thought our defense last year was going to be top 10 again, never happened. We will see.

Lack of ability to assess talent? KK is both the HC who thought he needed to teach Kyler Murray to be a Dan Marino-type pocket passer _AND_ the coach who couldn't win in college with Mahomes. He not only _doesn't_ innovate, QBs who do confuse him.
Does anyone have any capacity here to assess properly? Or is it all 4-year-old "my team can beat up Your Team" emptiness? There are almost no coaches with a history of doing less with more than these two.
Why is our coaching staff so great I was super hype but hearing from other fanbases they kinda humbled me. I mean Kingsbury offense was carried by off schedule plays if kyler Murray and when Kyle didn't do that the offense sucked. Dan Quinn was prolly the worst coaching hire and we got him. I like the dc and stuff but I mean oc and hc is like mid at best

I just pointed out this on another stream. Yes, everyone here is just "are not." Kingsbury couldn't win with Mahomes in college. He also tried to tie Kyler to staying in the pocket. If they draft Jayden Daniels he will wreck him, but to be honest, I don't think he can get the best play out of anyone.
& there's a reason DQ hasn't been an HC for this long. Sean McVay just hired an assistant because McVay is self-aware enough to realize that in the clutch, his play-calling sometimes suffers. DQ doesn't seem self-aware enough to understand this concept.
To be fair, most coaches are like DQ. McDermott in Buffalo is probably The Worst at this. Sometimes he goes _into_ games so tense he starts calling plays immediately. But Shanahan, McCarthy (cripes are _ALL_ NFL coaches Irish?) also can't call good plays when they start getting tense. Andy Reid (see?) is the best at keeping his cool even with Kelce in his face.

Don't be surprised if they actually want Pennix and are using Maye and Daniels to get the pats to trade from 3 to 2 and then use the 3rd spot to use the cardinals or chargers to move up to the 3rd spot and still get their guy.

The LTs who would improve our OL will be gone most probably by 18 and Alt will be drafted 6th or 7th. If you think there are a number of tackles we can draft who fill the bill, please list them. I was listening to another channel saying even Latham has not played LT and there is a lot he would have to learn to do it. In his draft this morning the good LTs were GONE at 18. Teams are, in fact, going to be unwilling to trade down, between 6 and 18, because at that point LTs will be an OVERVALUED commodity (like QBs in picks 2 thru 6) and you will have to sell the farm to trade up.
I strongly suggest you look into this before using the word "easily".
