This is a review I did about the Ortho 0221910 Home Defense Insect Killer for Indoor & Perimeter Refill 2, 1.33 GAL that is pretty commonly available on Amazon, Costco, Samsclub, Home Depot, Walmart and more. I've been using this for years now and it does a great job.
While the packaging says it lasts 12 months I'd recommend applying it every 3-6 months outdoors and probably every 6 months indoors. It's cheap enough and you can put new batteries in the sprayer so that makes it fairly cost effective. I'd definitely recommend going with the model that has the battery operated sprayer. Home depot has a version of this they call the Ortho Home Defense Insect Killer for Indoor & Perimeter2 Ready-To-Use Trigger Sprayer and I've found that my hand gets super tired with the normal sprayer.
