I would keep 4 or 5 milk cows if it meant never having to drive a big ol' pickup. Where do I sign?
I’m not seeing what you mean.
@@OverOnTheWildSide there are things I would rather do, and there are things I wouldn’t. That’s where barter works best.
@@compulsivecrocheter8961 ah, so you dislike driving a truck that much eh?
Enjoyed the show , keep up the good work
Thanks Darrel
Couldn't catch ya this morning but tuning in now to watch!
Awesome, I hope it’s interesting
Caught you late from Texas
Welcome, 10:30am your time next Saturday.
Never get reminder for you live video's or I'd tune in.
I only post thirty minutes prior but it’s every Saturday at 8:30am PST.
@OverOnTheWildSide ok, I'll be tuning in, I enjoy your videos, if things don't improve, we all be living a more simple life, I already do.
@@JJ-JOHNSON cool, glad to hear it.
they are the easiest tree to multiply. i cut the tips of a few 8-inch branches and put them in a glass of water and they sprout roots in a week. i remove the lower leaves for good measure so roots will also sprout there, and the old big leaves fall off and new leaves sprout in maybe a week
Great video... I can say first hand be careful camping in the mountains land slides can happen boulders start rolling I've had it happen fortunately I was not in the direct area but quite an experience especially at 5 am
Yessir fall is def settlin in, wool wear season and union suits...best time of year! 🍁
Luv to see those aspens turn orange n red
Greetings from No. Colorado! Home from work, sick...
Greetings Matthew! I hope it’s not too bad of a sickness.
@@OverOnTheWildSide I think I'm on the other side of it; sinuses, again... Great Books You've got!
@@matthewtmarfield7861 cool deal. Thanks!
Just rock in a rocking chair with your butter jar for about 20 minutes.
Rewatching this part one and two! What kind of pan is that that ya made the coffee in?
It’s called a sheetiron pan. A newer model called Cold Handle can often be found in antique stores. And by “newer” I’m talking late 1870’s to probably 1930’s or 40’s. They were around for a long time. Same pans but I better handle style.
@@OverOnTheWildSide Interesting, thanks for clarifying. I've been loving the Lodge cast iron skillet that I got a while back and have cooked over coals with it, but always wondered what pans were actually used. Suppose it depends greatly on when and where 👍
How to make biscuits soft and fluffy , Put them in a zip lock bag over night . Enjoyed the show.
Can't go wrong with wool for the outdoors
Good stuff as usual thanks
Homemade better is always the best I love it
If you don't have your drill charged you can put the lid on the jar and just shake the dickens out of it! Once it forms a clump, rinse it with fresh water and add salt to your liking. The shake method works better if you're using just the cream from the milk though.. just let the cream come to the top of the milk and pour some of it off for buter.
😢
@Katiebaddie what’s the sad face for?
Shake it in the jar
I just might try that today. It never became butter last night, I think it kept getting too cold.
14 hours later, Butter
Exactly haha!
Great video love your live stream... it's a great day to be free
Amen to that
what lake are you going to
I PM’d you
Enjoyed the show, better late then never .
Definitely
If you're worried about the small ones. The obvious thing to do would have put them under the blanket with you. Use them as hot water bottles and the blanket kept holding the heat and keep you all warm. if they don't want to be under the blanket. Then they're obviously not that cold. It's all in your head cuz if they were cold they would stay where it's warm. If you are warm you wouldn't want to be warmer. You'd want to be where it's cooler
You don’t know my dogs.
Your animals are more resilient to cold weather than you are. You need to quit being a Pantheon with the animals and let them live.
You misunderstood what I said in the video.
Very awsome, my kinda cookin show!
I need to be living like a pack of wolves. Society just ain't for me. Thanks fer bein such a baddass inspiration good sir.
Thank you, yes modern society is dark.
Just right, no better way too learn... And thank you CUASE I'm learning as well.
Good stuff! 😅
Haha thanks!
Nice 1849! The first thing I did was replace the nipples with ampco bronze and tune the hammer contact and man did it help! Uberti from factory needed a little help tbh. Did a trigger job (I do gunsmithing) in process and now I need to make a small holster and a cast some conicals. Have a 22lr kit for it and need to test that too. But I prefer BP in a BP revolver. Handy little pistola. Everyone should have an 1849.
Missed you live, had to run up to Murray's to get hay. Busy time of year.
Having hay is a good feeling. It’ll be posted if you want to listen later.
Just now watching 7:00pm eastern, love the channel.
We’re starting the other discussion in an hour.
I know it maybe late but I am watching today
Thanks for saying so. See ya this evening?
@@OverOnTheWildSide sure
I live in southern Ontario Canada hopefully the time difference is not too intense
5:00 pst so is that 8pm where you are?
Where can I find a cool hat like yours? Great look.
I find them secondhand and reshape with steam. Just a good quality cowboy hat and apply steam until it’s soft and then shape it the way you want it.
Cool video and neat setup, is this camp site and others on your land?
I think I only did one camp on my property. I mention it in the video I believe. A couple others weren’t far off of my property, that was my Nessmuk Experiment videos.
Don't let technology stress you out your content and channel is phenomenal
I love this! Thanks for sharing! I’ve been using a Hennessy hammock and internal frame pack for years, but always feel like the pack is added weight that I’m not using
Great video with open cowboy country, are you in Wyoming?
I’m in eastern Washington. A good percentage of our state is desert.
Cool video using era correct firearms, I understand why you don't do more firearm videos to stay true to your content. As I gun guy I do appreciate these types of videos and if you incorporated a few more even just doing era correct pieces you'd probably attract more viewers. Not that you need them or care, just a thought. So happy I stumbled across your channel, it's quite refreshing.
I suspect you’re right, I was surprised at how well this video did.
Proper
This is so cool! Wish I was your neighbor, I love cowboy camping and the whole way of life.
Likewise, thanks for the comments. If you were closer I’d invite you over for coffee around the fire.
Cowboy camping for real, great stuff.
Love your channel.been watching for some time now.stanfrrom taxas Texas
God bless Texas
Your clear now
Love ya vids!
I`d love to come to a camp like yours good video greetings from Ontario Canada
Greetings in return, thanks for watching.
great channel a true legend and great video
Thank you
100% on the horse behavior 😆 goats are the same, the dynamics of a wild herd vs when we put them in controlled environments and groupings. When they stop and “take in the moment” it’s usually a “yummy?” Or “danger?” moment. And yes women do tend to personify animals a lot more.
