The beavertail, thats the point thing at the back, is not a problem. The hammer is not a problem. Keep the safety on and that makes a world of difference for AD's. If you are on safe with the Taurus and catch the trigger, no boom. If you catch the trigger on the Glock, boom. And the Taurus safety is in the original Beretta location.

I cut my teeth on the 1911A1 in the US ARMY. Then the Beretta came to be. I prefer the Taurus because of the grip and safety, which is identical to the 1911A1. So i own both the 1911A1 and the Taurus PT92 FS D

Never had a snag with a concealed carry Beretta 92FS ( similar to TaurusPT92 ). Carried it in a Galco S.O.B. holster. I have never had an issue with a Beretta 92 nor a Taurus PT92/PT99. I've had on one occasion the front sight shoot loose and wobble during target shooting with a Glock . On another occasion, I've had the front sight fly completely off during a shooting session. Again, the Glock. The last incident was during the loading of the Glock magazine, something inside broke that kept the base plate on/in place and the shot off down to the floor. As a result, my rounds also dropped out of the magazine onto the floor. Glock perfection. My Glock 17. I've found that every Taurus PT99 or PT92 I've shot was more accurate than my Beretta 92FS. From my experience, both the Beretta 92FS and the Taurus PT92/PT99 were more accurate and reliable than my Glock 17. I was never a 100 shooter with a Glock. That's me. I knew and shot with guys that were 100 shooters using the Glock. To the best of my knowledge and memory, I think I was around mid-70s to low 80s (83) with a Glock. My best being I scored an 86 once with the Glock. I was much better with the Beretta and Taurus. I was never fond of plastic or polymer guns. I would never choose a Glock over a Beretta 92 or Taurus PT92/PT99. Heavy metal makes me smile 😊. I love cowboy movies, so I would choose/trade a Glock for a well-made, accurate, and reliable single action revolver ( Colt, Freedom Arms, a BFR,Ruger Blackhawk, Ruger NMS Blackhawk, Ruger Blackhawk Hunter, Cimarron, etc ) in 44mag,45lc or 454 . Think about it, every plastic gun is a Barbie doll a little girl can not have 😢.

The Taurus 92 is underrated. Its hard to find good double action pistols, let alone at this lower price tag.

I've carried both weapons. I've never had any problems with the longer nose, hammer or the protrusion that protects the web of the hand. I don't use a holster. My current carry is a very early PT92. I like that it allows for second strike in case the round fails to fire. Also the grips are easy to change. My PT92 sports wraparound pachmyr signature series grips with an added front strap that adds an additional ⅛". My hands are really large and require that thicker grip. I have friends who carry a glock and they are surprised by how easy the PT92 is to point and shoot. That's my two pesos on it. Great video by the way.

I hate glocks for the reason I love the pt92 and that’s the safety features .. don’t trust a gun that you can just pick up and squeeze the trigger.. too much room for error.. based on being curious kid finding a relatives gun and the only reason I didn’t accidentally hurt myself or someone else is I didn’t know how to release the safety.. looking back if it was a Glock life wouldn’t be the same right now. Thumb safety works for me.

I’m like 7 years late, had to search it up. Not much on UA-cam about this blade in particular. If you still have it, how is it holding up? Could you get some footage of it on an outing sometime? God forbid it is Covid safe to actually go out and film it in use.

I prefer my PT92 over my Beretta F/S. No offense but I have quite a collection of hand guns, but I am still trying to convince myself to get a Glock. If I do I'd get a Glock 19.

The Taurus is NOT a Beretta clone. It's a continuation Beretta produced in Brazil, in the Beretta factory that was sold, lock, stock and barrel to "Taurus". Taurus merely stamped their logo and serial numbers instead of Beretta's. My 1987 PT92AF can use Beretta parts! Every bit the equal of Beretta for significantly less $$.

I have had a Taurus PT 92 or PT 99 for more than 20 years. The PT 99 is the same as the 92 but with an adjustable rear sight. My PT 92 has less recoil than a compact .380. Runs everything I've ever run through it flawlessly. I'll take the extra weight of the Taurus PT 92 any day over the G17. Great review by the way. The extra weight of the Taurus explains the lighter recoil.

Good video. In addition to firearms I have archery equipment (I have been a bowhunter since age 8) and three magnum air rifles (two in .22 and one in .177). These will allow me to quietly collect food while my firearms are used when it is an appropriate time to use firearms.

.223 hit a rib, which broke and made a huge hole...7.62 just ice picked through flesh. Watch any real gel test, and the damage favors 7.62 unquestionably. U fortunately it’s horribly inaccurate at range
