Just an FYI, the mac and cheese and muffins get the "prepared" calories with the butter, milk or whatever else it takes. Still a good buy, as you can use the cheese flavoring to spice things up.
You need to prep what you eat.. and do not prep bits and pieces.. make a menu, prep a meal; just having stuff is not prepping.. ijs been doing this for awhile, learned alot, especially using coupons
Thanks for the tip. Didn’t think about making a menu, this can be very useful for rationing. Using coupons are a great idea too, but these videos are intended to show you how you can accumulate as many supplies and calories as possible with as little money as possible, as fast as possible. Also for the person who is not coupon savvy quite yet. If you take a look at all three videos and combine the three weeks worth of PREPS you would have plenty of food to keep you alive for over a month. Additionally you would have medical supplies, hygienic supplies, water purification supplies, Cleaning supplies, Emergency lighting. The traps give you a sustainable food source; alcohol can provide warmth and a means of cooking your food. A lot of these preps can provide a multitude of uses. I too have been doing this for a long time but I would appreciate any tips you would have. Thanks for the comment!
I have sooo many tips. But meal planning is the first step.. if not you are buying a bunch of stuff with calories that are not beneficial. Write a dinner on an index card; everything in it, then how many times a month do you eat that meal. So, say you eat your meal once a week, to have a months supply you multiply by 4; Start with a months supply then work up. for 3 months, 3 x 4=12 of everything on your list.
Thanks for the tip, although I would argue that the calories in the food preps I have listed would be VERY beneficial. If you go back and look at the nutrition facts, almost everything has fats, protein, carbs, fiber, & vitamins. It might not be the healthiest, but extra saturated fats are going to be the last of your worries if things are so bad outside that you cannot leave your house. The idea of planning meals is great, but realistically can you plan over a month worth of meals, of things you eat on a normal basis for $45? Without using coupons? That’s what the point of these videos are; To show you what items you can buy that will provide the most calories for the least mount of money. It’s not going to be 5 star dinning, but it’s what your body needs to stay alive once the items in your pantry run out.
Imagine when SHTF, no one really knows when it could happen. Prepping can be made simple and everyone should be doing it. Google Trankors Survival Secret for strategies that are not only easy to implement, but fit any budget as well.
THAT is where I found mine. Actually have two now. I buy produce in season and dehydrate. Easy to plan meals that way.

I'm just curious how one bakes the corn muffins if there is no power..........
I have an idea for a great meal for SHTF take spam, rise (brown), ramen, beans, corn and potatoes and I think thats a pretty hardy meal.

Yes, you can, if you plan properly. That is the purpose of prepping. I can mail you a sample menu, to show you what I mean
I would definitely appriciate it! Thanks again watching and the tips.
Yeah, I'm probably not going to eat a mouse or rat I caught in a trap. I'm sure there are some dandelions or leaves I can eat first.
