    I'm looking at one in a store in Arizona right now. Really!? $900 for this little thing? I don't care if it's premium metal, top-notch smooth or not...I've got A Panasonic GH5 and a Sigma 150 to 600 contemporary. Attempting to put that rig and shoot steady wildlife video on this little thing is a joke. Nicely made, looks unique, but nothing worth $900 going on here in my opinion. Then again If I spend the time to watch this entire video I might get the point this man is trying to make. However, I believe your money could be better spent than for this teeny thing. Top wildlife shooter's tripod? Nah!!!

    • @TheDevonOutdoorsman
      @TheDevonOutdoorsman Рік тому

      Thanks for the response. If you do watch the video you'll see that the Sigma 150-600 C is exactly the lens I use, along with a Nikon D500. Prices have certainly gone up...I didn't pay anything like the £ equivalent of $900.

    Just found your channel, great videos very informative and I love your bird shots, you have a new subscriber. Question ... why do you use a Benro ball head and not a 3 Legged one on your monopod?

    • @TheDevonOutdoorsman
      @TheDevonOutdoorsman Рік тому

      Hi Rob, thank you for watching and for your kind words. The channel has taken a bit of a back seat lately but I'll hopefully be making some more videos soon. So I've found the Benro ball head to be a better option for the monopod because it's got more weight to it and with the D500 and 150-600 lens it's just a more robust option than the 3LT. For lighter rigs the 3LT is fine. Hope that helps.

    It's an excellent presentation but I would prefer to see a more accurate comparision between Z6 and D500 both for the same type of jobs. Thanks so much Scott. Please don't think I was ungrateful or fishing for compliments, my comment wasn't intended in that way. I've fairly recently discovered an old (very) barn that last summer was housing two adults and two chicks. The rather frustrating thing being the adult pair don't come out until dark. This wonderful find is rather tainted however in the Knowledge that the land the old barn is on will soon be turned into a housing estate. Such a great shame but hopefully they'll move on and find new homes. You're so fortunate to get to see them. I could watch and film them for hours.
