HI, fantastiese video. Ons gaan Namibia toe vir eerste keer, maar doen twee weke road trip. Was enige van julle voertuie automaties gewees? Ons ry met 'n Pajero SWB 3.2 DiD en 'n Defender. Hopelik kan ons 'n duin of twee in ons program inkry.

These are such great videos! Thank you for posting. We are going to make a similar trip in 2024. One question for you: how did you make the introduction with the old map and animated routing? I'm hoping to do some videos of our trip and I have no idea how to create something like that. If you have tips or advice, or could share what you used to create the opening, I'd be grateful. Looking forward to seeing more of your African adventures.

Awesome we did a road-trip for 8 days in Oct 2022, Namibia is truly amazing

Drones are strictly prohibited in our national parks, for reasons I'm sure you are fully aware of. Please do the right thing and re-edit your video without the drone shots, so as not to encourage other overlanders to break the rules.

I recon you got a drone permit ?

Hi Tiana, great footage and pictures, I thoroughly enjoyed it. We were in Mabua from 16-21 Oct and the green grass was already visible in many areas. We had some great sightings but your lion sightings were wonderful! I'v also just posted part 1 of our trip.

Hi Tiana en familie. Love jul videos en jaloers op al jul awesome trips!! Mal oor jul Cruiser!!!! Ek self het 'n 2005 Land Cruiser 4500 Efi double cab. Ek is baie nuuskurig, wat is jul gemiddelde brandstof verbruik op daai V6 en wat is die swakste verbruik in diep sand 4x4 ry..?? Ek droom van sulke trips met my 4500 EFi Cruiser en soek net 'n idee van brandstof verbruik... Groetnis Riaan

Excellent skill in arguably the best rig Joe! Your Cruiser build is simply brilliant! We just had to smile a little at your reference to "precious cargo" considering your most precious cargo was hanging around outside your rig doing photography of your heroic efforts! I have often wondered whether I would ever chance it down Van Zyls with our AmaTrok and a ton's worth of camper on the loadbay. Tiana, your camera tells the story beautifully! Thanks!

That is an incredible journey, the trip down Van Zyl's pass my heart was in my mouth all the way! Hats off to the drivers! I expect when Van Zyl did it with his T ford, he just got the Himba to pick it up and carried it down, like you do a pram down a flight of stairs! T Fords are lighter than 4x4's.

A quick Good Morning Tiana and family. Beautiful photography of my childhood places! Espescially Spitzkupfen! Wish you'ld do a whole video on Spitskoppies and surroundings only! My dad and I often camped at Spitskoppe and Kleine Spitzkupfen. There were no fences then and Hyena and Jackal would visit close to the campfire at night! Those were awesome days... waking up in the middle of the the night with the sounds of Jackal and Hyena close by would often spook a little boy, but dad would just sleep on next to the fire unperturbed. It still brings tears to this ex Namibian boy at late fifties. In 1980 we took a piece of granite cutting from the area for his tomb stone. It still stands in the Windhoek Cemetery to this day as a reminder of the man who was my hero! You are heroes! Loved the trip through the Omaruru, also often visited as a youngster, and the Ugab! We see Episode 3 is in for over dinner tonight!

Oh my word! My nieces are so beautiful. When did they get so big? I have come to two conclusions. The first is that Joe and I have a very different idea about what constitutes a road. The second is that you guys need to come over to the US and let me show you some redwood trees. Because we also have a very different idea about what a giant tree happens to be. Just promise that you won't call me and Thomas soft because we will be staying in hotels within our national parks rather than camping rough as you guys do.
