🌻 We're Sam and Kostia, a Kiwi and a Ukrainian, first-time game makers full-time dreamers. Our indie game project, Copycat, made us feel a little scaredy-cat entering the industry. So we started this devlog to share our progress and experiences in 2021. In 2022, we founded our video game collective called ‘Spoonful of Wonder’. In 2023, we took our demo to PAX and SXSW. In 2024 our playable demo is available on Steam. We look forward to launching in 2024.

Looks great, been needing a new cat game with good story to play since STRAY got released.
We hope you like the game. We are only a tiny team of three and this is our first game! We can't match Stray by any means but we hope to make a game with big heart 🐾
@@CopycatGameDevlog STRAY was an incredible game, but it did take a team of 28 humans and 2 cats over 7 years to complete, so i don't expect something that in depth from your team considering the massive size difference. I'm excited to see how your game turns out, as long as you keep putting your all into development without over working yourselves, I'm sure you will make something amazing! Added the game to my steam wish list, going to give the demo a try soon but i can't wait for the full release.

Any updates on the release date? It was written it will be released in November 2023 and still nothing
It's taking a bit longer than we expected for a team of 2 :) We want to bring you the best experience we can, so decided to delay the release. Keep an eye on our socials for the official announce date.

This game looks so amazing, I just heard about it a couple hours ago and I'm so excited to play it and hope you will consider either supporting VR natively, or if it's too much work for a small team (totally understandable), working with and/or allowing Luke Ross to have his Real VR mod support your game? I know I'm not the only one thinking this.
Big thanks, means a lot! As you mentioned, we're too small of a team to consider a VR port, since it was not planned or developed to support it from the start. But excited to see what people can make if anyone's keen to give it a shot :)
