🎬 Hey kittens! In this video, we take you through the recording process of Copycat. Sam and Kostia talk through their top four learnings, while touching on the ins and outs of recording for an indie game. Audio was recorded over three days at a sound studio called Massive Music Sydney.
🎮 Copycat is a wholesome, narrative-driven game about rejection, belonging and the true meaning of home. It follows the story of a newly adopted shelter cat who becomes the victim of an elaborate plan when a jealous, stray copycat steals her place in the household.

🌻 Hey! We're Sam and Kostia, a Kiwi and a Ukrainian, first-time game makers full-time dreamers. Our indie game project, Copycat, made us feel a little scaredy-cat entering the industry. So we started this devlog to share our progress and experiences in 2021. In 2022, we founded our video game collective called ‘Spoonful of Wonder’. Now in 2023, we have taken our demo to PAX and SXSW. We looking forward to launching early 2024.
