ok, i thought you might be cooking something, but you lost me when u said “wait a few faces for a start to form” and “gravity doesn’t update at the speed of light”. there are a lot of mistakes in your theory, and it shows you didn’t do much research before making this. i watched all the way through, it was entertaining, and yes it is possible to survive a few thousand years assuming that the people of iron lung have FTL travel. it will also be easier to move entire planets if they can set it up before the geothermal activity goes cold too. i liked the video, just do a little more research, it’ll improve the quality a lot.

lol I think the quiet rapture might be based off tv series the leftovers. The universe gets split into two. One with 98% of humanity wondering where the other 2% went. And the other being the 2% wondering where the entire 98% went.

I have a feeling that the “quiet rapture” was some sort of dimensional split. Like to most of humanity, they lost about 2% of the universe. But to the ones that suddenly are by themselves, they lost everything.

The pretense of all stars and natural resources simply disappearing from the universe breaks the first law of thermodynamics. This is a video game and is therefore entirely survivable because it is just a fictional video game, and no one has actually died playing it as far as I know, but if one did suffer from a medical condition in which playing a horror video game that elevates the heart rate and induces feelings of fear or anxiety in one playing the game, which may result in death, one can simply choose not to play this game and therefore makes this game 100% survivable. (Sorry) The game makes it clear that the playable character has been brainwashed into believing lies, ignorant of fact, and was decieved into entering this death trap we know as the iron lung under this false pretense of no stars or natural resources being left in the universe. SO, effectively they are on this grandiose mission to search a deep ocean of blood, which is clear enough to photograph inside of, but are actually just being executed by a biblically accurate Jonahs' whale 🐟 In Iron lung 2 the player character will still be alive in the belly of the blood ocean fish and use its internal organs to navigate and eventually be regurgitated on the coast of an alien world.

The autogenerated subtitles really annoy me. Clearly you made a well thought out script, you narrated the video, put some backdrops together, and then the subtitles just occasionally say random garbage? Couldn't you just have copied the script into the subtitles...

I think the issue with a setting like this is that it raises too many unanswerable questions. It's bad, unintelligent writing.

All of this is predicated upon the idea that humanity in this setting has the resources to power whatever theoretical technology that could be used to harvest or travel these great distances to get the resources you're talking about

I usually love this kind of video, over analyzing a piece of media and trying to see how it would really go down, but this was just kinda annoying. Idk, maybe it’s the voice or maybe it’s that it just feels like semantics…
