Did anyone ever stop to think that maybe she wasnt having visual hallucinations but they made it that way to convey the battle warring inside of her head and heart? In order to show her turmoil they have to rely mostly on expressions, body language and the visual. Im not stating this is the case and that she didn't hallucinate but I truly believe she had paranoid delusions like I get with my BPD. I don't hallucinate but I saw it all as what thought patterns were ruminating and were thrashing around inside her mind at those moments. I’m a clinical psychologist & these dangers apply to their therapeutic relationships as well. My last patient with BPD has gone to great lengths to ruin my life ever since I terminated with her. Her retaliation began with her denying she ever attended 2/3 of her appointments with me. This resulted in her parents sending two lawyers after me to get a refund for those appointments she denied having with me to the tune of $15,000. My lawyer urged me to go along with their demands in hopes that would be the end of it. So I immediately issued a refund for the entire amount. Then they came after me for raising my rates by $25, so I had to give them ANOTHER refund for all of her appointments in 2024 after I raised my rates. I didn’t challenge these demands either because I was again hoping this would end their incessant bullying & harassment. Nope! Next thing I know, they filed several formal complaints against me with the psychology board in my state. They went so far as to get the Department of Justice involved in the investigation. THEY JUST DON’T STOP! The Board is currently reviewing my records to decide if they are going to insist on a formal hearing or will dismiss the case in my favor. It’s been 5 weeks since I turned everything over to them, so idk if that means good news or bad news. Time will tell. I just want all the clinicians out there to know that these folks with BPD are a huge liability because they will go to the end of the Earth to ruin our careers & destroy our lives. The LIES she made up about me are so outrageous they are actually impossible. She told me during my second session with her that she was suing her last psychiatrist so that alerted me to document EVERYTHING. My therapy notes and my progress notes show clear, long-standing patterns of lying, manipulation, abuse, and delusional thinking. She threatened to sue me if I ever diagnosed her with BPD, but my notes scream “severe BPD” throughout. Anyone on the Board with half a brain will read between the lines & and see that her complaints against me are half-baked at best. This misfortune will easily set me back $100K in legal fees and clawbacks. READERS, BEWARE!!

there's another way to interpret silco's "we? who's we?" comment. it's in response to sevika calling jinx "a problem," which is the core of a lot of her trauma. silco probably knew that jinx was listening to that conversation, and he jumped to distance himself from people who think of her that way. i think this is supported by the fact that he immediately turns the blame back around on sevika, even though she wasn't really at fault. he's assuring jinx of his loyalty. "don't worry, you're not a problem, and i am not associated with anyone who thinks you are."

Interpreting a neutral face as an angry one… ugh… it’s like this universal theme in anyone who’s had childhood trauma. We got so used to scrutinizing our parents’ facial expressions so we would know to lay low when they’re angry. And now as adults we do the same.

Great analysis. 2 things I believe could be also said: The first, when Savika goes to Silko about Jinx. That "we" Silko mentions, I believe is not to distance himself from her, meaning, "don't believe for a second we run this together, I am in charge". I believe it's more about "you and who else?" but again, not to make her feel inferior or unable to oppose him. But meaning "How many people is talking about this? It's going to become a problem? Can I trust you or are you with this people, ready to betray me?". And I believe the way she looks downwards it's her, letting the guard down for a moment and becoming aware of her slip there. Like, she didn't want to rat about anyone being against Silko. The second, about comparing Jinx to a female Joker or even a Harley Queen... I see her more like a dark Batman. I can see the conversation between her and Silko, just after the 3rd episode. Powder telling Silko about Vi calling her a jinx (what hurt her, hoping he heals it). And Silko teaching her to get over it saying something along the lines of "become what you fear, so other people are afraid of you too". Like Batman did with the bats. Jinx worst trauma and fear (aside from the loss of everyone and being left alone) I believe it's that Mylo and Vi were right. That it's all her fault. That she really is a jinx, a curse for everyone around her. And that she will end up alone because of that. Either because people realice about this and leave her, or they die. And that's what she got over (with seriously cuestionable coping mechanisms) and that's why she is able to be alone in her "batcave" and also detached of everyone (but Silko). She grew self esteem by convincing herself that she must not care what others think of her. What it's not intrinsically bad but, taken to the extreme, as you saw and said, is becoming detached to humanity, outside and also inside yourself. Thank you for this analysis. I came here to get over the trauma of this show and it's helping a lot :)

My parents, especially my mom, are both mentally and physically abusive.. my dad was always chill but my mum got to him, and now he’s the same as my mum, and when he’s really angry, he’s worse. I have a maid at my house, but she’s really rude. All she wants to do is too get my mum mad at me, so I can get abused. Today I was just playing with my baby sister, and my maid started screaming as if I was stabbing my sister. My mum came running and the maid said I’d been trying to hurt my sister, and my mum dragged me into the room, locked the door and started hitting me with a belt. I tried to tell her that the maid was lying, but then she got more mad because I was “falsely accusing the maid” she told me that If I get the maid to leave by blaming her, then she would almost kill me every single day.
