I might have to take ~35-40% paycut as well since the job market is so tough right now. I'm about to get laid off (company is moving to on-site and I declined relocation) from my mid 200s tech job. The only roles I'm getting interviews for are the mid 100s, the higher paying ones in the East Coast won't bite. But as you mentioned on your video - anything is more than $0. I'm a man in his upper 50s, and for me, I like to go out for two reasons that you did not cover: 1) the BONDING that takes place when sharing in a buzz together with your close friends and/or family; and 2) the ALTERED STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS. It is such an interesting experience when your consciousness has been altered and you are viewing your surroundings in such a mental condition. It is such a fantastic time when, for example, you hit a day-long street festival, in the summer, and you're able to share in that experience with some of your best friends, and all of you are getting tipsy together. It's like you all are stepping into a spaceship together and blasting off into outerspace, sharing an adventure, and no one else is privy to it. So many of my most cherished memories are from these adventures. I am sober way, way more times than I am buzzed. I still absolutely LOVE the fun effects of alcohol such as all I listed above, but I am finding that I am liking my sober times EVEN MORE SO than ever before. So that's my dilemma, as you can see. On one hand, I still love the buzz, while on the other hand, I am really diggin' the sober times. If I could figure out how to deal with those two things I mentioned in the beginning, I would gladly go completely sober.

You're going to get inappropriate, un-constructive, and nasty comments on UA-cam. It's not you, it's just how some people are. The ironic thing I've learned for my own channel is that if it's not completely over the top, a lot of times I just let the comment stand - it actually adds to your metrics. Just keep going, eventually you'll not worry about them and be happy about everything you're doing.
