I love this message!! This girl is in year eight & struggling to submit to my husband. I left him lead when it comes to decision & financing but I struggle with not debating with him or being soft/submissive in the bed room. It is so hard. Thinking I am submitting to God instead of flesh helps change my mindset.

Ok, but I don’t fuss at my husband be a certain way. I respond to his fussing of dictatorship, immaturity & misunderstanding of the role of a wife and his role as a husband. Not all women “fuss”. But I do agree, with change & work on you. My grandmother always said if you want someone to change you change how you deal with them.

I wish my husband would ask to spend a WHOLE day every week just with me! He’s always too busy for me and I crave more time with him. You are a lucky woman

Girl, you're right. I came in marriage soft and willing to be led by husband, God's way. But he kind of took that as a weakness. I had to straighten...well, God had to straighten him . Always pray and trust Jesus Christ first, with all your heart.

This is extremely hard, but God is definitely faithful in walking with me through it, giving wisdom on how to navigate through it, and growing me in so many different areas. I'm just trusting God at this point, and surrendering to His process. He'll handle the rest.

Gratitude. More often if he does something little, it’s for me so I say thank you. I pray more often that whoever’s posture is off, correct it now Lord. Choosing my battles wisely. He can learn what’s more important to you and won’t push back on those things Becoming softer is definitely more peaceful than trying aggressively to keep “control” I didn’t want that much control/responsibility anymore anyway so why fight for it😂

This is really good. Sometimes my husband gets into his head and he flips out and does a 180...I immediately take it personal and I know I'm not handling it the right way. I will be like, your a grown man, stop throwing temper tantrums hitting stuff. Etc . I know what I'm saying is true but I know it's not an honoring thing to say in the moment of whatever is going on in his emotions and mind. I need more info on this to help me succeed 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I'm so glad I found you even though it's been 33 years of marriage that includes a lot of mess - most of which i am sure would have not happened if I had discovered this message a long time ago. But I am just starting to hear your content and this is exactly what I have been looking for. I always said that he needs to lead but I never considered the influence I have and WOW!!! Trusting God and then trusting my husband has helped me let go to let him lead. Then i work on my self to Provide unconditional love. Meaning i continue to do things i always do, even if im upset.

Let’s stop allowing the minority to speak up for the majority, even with our own thoughts. Nobody has the perfect marriage! Everyone is working towards making the good days outweigh the bad days! Don’t feed into those temporary emotions and do something that is permanent. So many marriages are ending in divorce over fickle feelings that need to be crucified instead of magnified. I’m not talking about abuse or cheating…. I’m talking about common daily emotions of life not being handled with truth, counseling, maturity, discipline, repentance, and Jesus. Let’s stop this rapid growth of split homes and divorce. Have you considered how good things really are? Have you looked at the glass half full instead of empty? Have you appreciated the positive and what is actually done right? Let’s appreciate our husbands today. #marriage #wellness

I am not wife yet. Bu I pray one day to be one. I am a girlfriend I have been practicing being soft and gentle with my boyfriend for 2 years now and I can say ladies it's not an easy journey!!! I want to therapy I prayed a lot, I read books watched videos like this one.. God knows I almost lost him. He is so gentle, respectful, kind loving and he helps me A LOT!!! it is extremely important not only for your husband/boyfriend but it will help you a lot as a woman in life. The moment I stopped being defensive reactive..I feel so good in my body my relationship is flourishing I am so glad I can give him the same peace he has given me for the past 2 years he could have left me but he was soooo patient. God bless him🥰.

Couldn't agree more. My husband's biggest turn off is when I defy his authority, when I defy his leadership. He always does right by me, I trust him with my love and I see him being such a great leader in our relationship, I willingly submit to his authority because he knows best what is good for me and for us.

My husband and I have to argue big time when it comes to volunteering at church. I tell him that as Christians we should maybe be a little bit active in church and not be a spectator only, but we always have big heated arguments when it comes to things as such. When I tell him that I wanna go to Bible studies, he just gets mad that I have to do all these things... I told him it's for my spiritual need, and he says that you can do these things at home. I have NEVER seen him read His Bible (we have been married for 10 years).. not that I'm judging, but just an observation. We don't ever pray together. We never have Bible discussions at home. But he is a baptized believer. He went to Bible school. What do I do? I feel so empty in that area... He's good person overall though. He cooks meals, he does things in the household.

I don't know if my husband is a narcissist but definitely is very prideful and wants to be right all the time. We've only been married a few months and it's been a rollercoaster-- not all bad, but more bad than good. I'm learning to bring it to God before I show my anger in the moments.
