    You’re a wise young lady. These issues being married are for all ages I am 60 and my husband is 61. It is a second marriage for us, but we’re caught up in the same grind as everybody else. The wisdom you shared today is appreciated

      Amen! Glory to Jesus! I did not have an example of a wife either and was raised with strong independent women around me. I too decided to break the curse of divorce and stubbornness in me. With God as our teacher, we WILL be godly wives who make a difference 🙏🏽💜

    I will pray to be more confident in who I am. I believe that doing so will help me not to feel I have to have control over conversations and the marriage in general. Being submissive is a scary concept to me, but at the same time I see where it can open the door for much needed peace for myself and my husband.

    Omg all of what you are saying is hitting me like a tun of bricks. Everything said in the first half is word for word what my husband expresses all the time 😢

    Know I only wish I found your videos yesterday and prayed before flipping out though I understand I was wrong in everything from vocabulary that God don't like and saying hurtful things that I really don't want said to me or be done to me. I really need to get back on track with God. Thank you J.O

    What about if we as wives aren’t allowed to feel or think a certain way? What if the husband feels he’s always right and the wife is having to apologize and admit she’s wrong even when she isn’t? Are we still called to submit even when she isn’t wrong?

    • @spicedwife
      @spicedwife  Місяць тому +1

      If the husband is wrong and the wife doesn’t agree, she can simply say “ok, I understand what you’re saying”…. This does not mean she agrees or has to apologize for something she did not do. It’s just keeping the peace and not taking it personally. In this case the wives must have strong emotional intelligence to just let it roll off her back and pray continuously for God to open her husband’s mind to truth.

    Sis are we not to have an opinion about choosing a house, where to travel, planning a wedding or choosing furniture ? He gets mad when I tell him what I would like. Are you saying to simply let him decide on everything?

    • @spicedwife
      @spicedwife  11 місяців тому +2

      God made Eve because Adam needed help… this lets us know our opinions matter and are needed in marriage. The key is HOW we present our opinion.
