How old do you need to be to start learning the piano? 4? 6? 10 at most?
My piano journey began at the age of 30, with my first lesson in September 2005. This adventure lasted almost 4 years. Now, 15 years later, I am excited to resume my journey.
I hope to resume sharing some of my performances, so you can judge for yourself, whether starting to learn the piano as an adult is worth the effort and the attempt.

Erik Satie - Gnossienne 1
This is Erik Satie's Gnossienne 1 - the main theme from The Painted Veil movie. I performed this after 3,5 years of learning to play the piano.
Not yet as subtle as I want it to be, but I will let the piece get mature with time. It took me two evenings to learn & memorize the scores, a week to lead this to this stage.

This is Prelude Op. 28 No. 15 in D flat major 'Raindrop' from Frederic Chopin. I performed this after 2,5 years of learning to play the piano. This is the longest prelude from Opus 28, and at the same time probably one of the most famous ones. This is my absolute favourite version of this beautiful piece of music. It flows with such ease. Other musicians interpretations always seem so forced so as to make their mark, but this performance shows an amazing piece of work and fantastic piano skills at the finest. Thanks.

I have this and im 6 th grade good job. Not that hard thoe but sokies and i dont do exams i got to international competitions. Btw 2.5 years? Thats really good for this song you need at least ok but 2.5 years wow.

i started piano 2 months ago, i started with solfeggietto and now i can manage to play it fast and pretty clean, then i started this piece yesterday and i wanted to use both hands, not one by one and i couldn't believe it but i'm good, i wish i have a talent in music cause i fucking love it
