Frederic Chopin - Nocturne in C sharp minor

- This is Nocturne in C sharp minor from Frederic Chopin - the main theme from The Pianist movie. I performed this after 3,5 years of learning to play the piano.
It took me approximately 2 months to lead this piece to this level. This is significantly faster than a year before when I spent more than 6 months learning Chopin's Raindrop Prelude. Of course, this version is not yet perfect (wonder if ever will be) but decided to record it anyway.
God damn, that's a nice keyboard, and you play it very well!
I'm just about to start learning this piece myself after 3.5 years of playing and in my opinion to play it as well as that after such a short time is incredible! So very well done!
This the mot beautiful music peace ever. Its so relaxing, and just breathtaking. You did a wonderful job playing it.
I just started learning the piano at the beginning of this year and get how difficult it can be (zero musical experience prior). Keep it up! It sounds absolutely wonderful.
u've completely melted my heart!!!!!
i lovett!!!!!!
I've just started learning this piece. Your version is lovely. Thanks for sharing...
i listend to all your playing
it is so beautifull thnk you
wow, it flows so beautifully, it's almost smooth!
Well done. It's such a beautiful yet haunting theme.
I've just started learning this piece. Your version is lovely!
This was a huge inspiration to me! I can't believe you could play that so well after only 3.5 years. I'm 27 and I'm just beginning piano, and this is one of my favorite pieces that I would like to learn. I was worried that it would take me an impossibly long time to get that far, but if you can do it, then I can, too.
Music comes from within the soul - and you have that. Oh I so wish you were my student - well done and keep practising - you love the paino and have that inner musicality. I was so glad to find this one xx
excuse me, i have something that fell in my eye, beautiful!!
Amazing play indeed. I love this piece by Chopin, and you just did a great job :) congratulations! I wish I could play like this.
This is beautiful, I love the piece anyway, but I did particularly enjoy your performance of it. Extremely expressive. Bravo! :)
Very nice!
Congratulations!
Unbelievable!!
Awesome!
I echo the other comments of posers who praise you for an excellent reading, especially for an adult beginner. I hope you continue to post updates of this as you practice more. It will be instructive to you to see how you improve, and interesting for your viewers. I am learning this nocturne for the first time, and I have been playing since sixteen, over 25 years.
Nicely done. I'm rekindling my piano playing from 50plus years ago and I'm doing well. This piece is inspirational and challenging for me and I so desperately want to get it right. Your camera angle is quite helpful. Thanks for your part (smile).
Wow... Pretty good work ;)
No mistakes :O
Perfect Job :)
The sound of immortality,
So beautiful!
I've been at this for more than 3 months... I'm not even close to this, ah.
nice
Nocturne is one of my favors
i love your playing.
Very well, very nice interpretation! Iplay this piece too with my left hand having only 3 finger.
3 to 5 years? Good for you~
I want to play this piece too~~
Perfect
i love the sound of your piano, im learning this piece too, i think you have done well, u might wanna work the trill again , its a beautiful play overall .. thank you for sharing
Man, it's so nice! Greetz!
I'm proud, because i can play it after 5 months of Piano lessons ;)
it sounds great , i have Clp-330C , and its a great piano , i am learning this norturne now , and you play it very well .... 5/5 !!
great performance guy !
Beautiful cover :)
bravo! i want to play it too. though it's only been a year since i learned piano by myself.
GRABE IDOL NA KITA! ....!!!!! :)
excuse me, i have some fell in my eye, beautiful!!
Man.. that is just brilliant. I've watched a couple of your videos, and I must say that it's like paralyzing to watch - it's that good. I really want to start play piano, so what kind of equipment would you recommend? Keep ut the good work.
Arthur, where did you go? I love your playing, please give me more!
Sorry about multiple posts.. It wasn't sure the post had been posted.. I'm new to youtube.
nice :)
Anything with a full keyboard (88 keys), weighted keys and pedals. I guess none electronic equipment will replace traditional acoustic piano, but with digital you can practice at nights without disturbing others. I found Clavinova as a perfect piano for me, but I guess choice of the piano is very personal, and I would recommend to go to the shop and "feel" the instrument by yourself , before buying.
you deserve more views bruh
very well done for getting this far in 2 months!! i think your trills need a little bit of work, but apart from that i don't think there's anything else to say apart from that it was beautifully played!
Good work. That 2nd cascade at the end is extremely difficult to do smoothly.
Yamaha Clavinova CLP-230. Really good instrument with great touch of the keyboard, yes - I would definitely recommend it. You would need to check the price in the music shop near to you.
@Ilia11489
Many thanks for leaving your comments. And your hearing is not misleading you - this is because I am using the samples which are based on the real Steinberg Grand Piano. Including the sound of pressed keys, and dampers.
awesome i have been playing a lot of piano recently but i just hadnt bought one for my home ive just been playing it at school what piano do you recommend and at what sort of costs would a good electronic 88 key piano be?
@eliiike its not an easy one, but with a lot of practise you will be able to play it. took me like 6 weeks to learn it, but it all depends on your level of skill
beautiful, nice work! Is that the CLP 330? If so, how do you like it? I am strongly considering picking one up this week.
Hi, this is Yamaha CLP230, but he sound comes from Steinberg the Grand Piano 2
@fiandrhi Keyboard --- USB --- The Steinberg Cubase LE --- The Steinberg the Grand Piano 2 VSTi --- wav. Hope this helps :)
i don't tend to speak in hyperbole, but i think this is probably the best version i've ever heard. the sound quality is the best at 720 for sure, atleast.
any chance you can rip an mp3 from this video, without quality loss? i'd really appreciate it =]
Your playing is amazing. Very good job for an adult beginner!
And your piano sounds great, too! Just listen to the chord at 0:20, for example. I can hardly believe that such a deep and rich sound can come from an electric piano!
Also, am I just dreaming, or can I actually hear the sound of dampers being lifted and brushing against the strings (for example at 0:55 - in fact I hear it throughout the piece)?
What piano are you using? Did anyone know? A how many keys does it have?
eu só me pergunto uma coisa, quem são as 24 pessoas que não curtiram?? São pessoas da baixa que não vai saber nunca o que é esse sentimento que sentimos e que expressamos através da música...
2 month is pretty quick. I bet you played all day long for 2 month to learn it like this
you must play this composition with very much emotions not just playing a tones its good for now but you must practise a lott :D this is good for you...
AMAZING you should do a tutorial :D
How did you record the sound? Is it a separate mic, the mic on your camera, or directly from the keyboard to a digital recorder?
Spectacular, tempo is just right. What grade would you say this piece is? 7?
Candyflozza It's in the grade 7 abrsm syllabus currently
it's quite good although there is some wrong parts
which is why so many, many people don't even bother learning an instrument. Wrong my arse.
@andrewh996 I have Yamaha Clavinova CLP 230 and I love it's GH3 keyboard. I have no experience with other keyboards except Casio, which I found as too "plastic" - I would recommend to visit digital piano shop and just try what is good for you, and what you can afford. Hope this helps :)
Nice work! You might like to chat with Thomas Andersen (thomandy). He also started playing as an adult, and he's doing great too.
which Digital Piano you have ?? i think its yamaha clp 200 or 300 series , x40/x70 ??
what age did you learn to play piano?and how many hours do you spend practicing in a day?, normally
what is the tempo? I learn to play this song, but don't know what tempo I should set on my Casio keyboard.
i just tried to play this recently and i still cannot play it well,my hands doesn't fit sometimes
@motrinDeadly its not the wrong notes, he played a different version
if I have an acoustic piano I would not be able to practice at nights without disturbing family and neighbours :)
10 in RCM
No it's in 9 RCM
这应该是类似于法国学派的演奏方式,虽然手型不大好看,但对弱音的把握非常恰当,不算完美performance
very niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
i know al the notes but dont know how to play :P i think i press the notes with the wrong finger !,, can some1tell me how to play?
This is great, you just have to work on your finger muscles for those trills
No! , emotiom will be to change the bit in 2:53 and not every few seconds!!
1:49 zjebal !!
pięknie :) idealne wykonanie. wrzuć coś nowego jak się nauczysz :P
why don't you play it on acoustic piano?
there are some wrong note dude and i heard the tempo is changed in some part but its good tho keep it up !
Rovivrus ohh that's good I thought I was playing it the wrong way 😆😆
Good job brother, you just need to work on your trail... though otherwise good job.
Not gonna lie it is a hard piece.
Errou no início
good ... but you need more practice
too many mistakes.................and you didn't keep on same beat
