Johann Sebastian Bach - Two Part Invention No 13 in A minor
Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 січ 2008
- This is Two-Part Invention No 13 in A minor from Johann Sebastian Bach. I performed this after 2,5 years of learning to play the piano.
The performance is still far from being perfect, but as there are not so many things to correct, I decided to record it anyway. Feel free to judge the current result by yourself.
i played this last year in a music festival.
i just love it. i can't get enough. EVER.
you played it really well i thought.
Perfect sound quality and perfect performer!
well done-trickier than it looks...
yes watch your thumbs.
hope you continue to enjoy playing...
This is sooo nice!!
You play very well, and with understanding.
In 2.5 years that's very good.
Bravo!
this is awesome!!
ur great at playing!
I'm doing this song for a test and my piano teacher told me to listen to videos, good job!
well played.... i'm learning this piece.... :)
This is great!
i love this song
you play fantastically
I remember way back (8 years ago, I'm only 13, XD) when I heard this song on Treasure Math Storm... Arrghh, the nostalgia! Thanks for making my day!
Great Job!
I think you have done a very good job of playing this piece. I am working on it, and is very challenging.
Great Playing! Congratulations!
lovely.
Good job on it. I;m learning it right now and this song is so hard to learn. My brain is killing itself on it! Its like trying to play two different songs at the same time.
Good Clarity and tempo. Nice!
sublime
Nice to listen to version
very good pianist!
My friend and I played this as a clarinet duet. c: Very nice.
OH.MY.GOD! Im playing this 4 my 6th grade and YOU HAVE THE SAME PIANO AS I DO :DD
私もむかしひきましたよ。とても懐かしいです!!!
You pretty much got it. Begin now to focus on phrasing and you'll really hear life breathing in the song. I'd be interested in hearing it again in the future.
I kind of agree about this, but I also tried to do the staccato thing cause this gives me a chance to enhance hands independence:)
Love
Genial
good!!..
i started piano 2 months ago, i started with solfeggietto and now i can manage to play it fast and pretty clean, then i started this piece yesterday and i wanted to use both hands, not one by one and i couldn't believe it but i'm good, i wish i have a talent in music cause i fucking love it
I would like 2 hear more of the left hand melody, and more of shaping the phrases. Also, i'd like to hear it on a grand piano. Either than that, I like it.
This was pretty good. I'm doing this for my grade 8 exam and I'm having a hard time fguring out the fingering parts (since i started off with the wrong fingering, its even harder now to fix it up) The only part that wasn't so good in the video was in bar 12, the left hand and right hand weren't in sinc. The right hand was speeding up while the left hand was desprately trying to catch up, making the song sound somewhat rushed
Commodore 64 - How old should your child be?
Great music from the Master + classic advertising = good memories
Yamaha CLP 230, the sound come via MIDI / Steinberg The Grand Piano 2
@kwkmgrrl08 Music schools grade pieces for students so they can progress through the grade system and take exams and earn certificates toward a degree. For example, I study with the Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto and they have 10 "levels." (They have changed the terminology to levels from the old grades). This is a brief explanation.
I've noticed that everyone plays most of this staccato, It confuses me because i always found it sounded much better when played with a sense of melodic Smoothness.. Oh well, great performance, well done :)
OMG ME TOO! And i'm doing this song. What other songs are you doing now?
great job! a hard piece to play.
I'm learning this song at the moment. Really hard.
Wow! I'm playing it for the Grade 8 RCM.
Hard to say :) I have not practiced enough Hannon (only few first exercises) so cannot really share my experience in this area. Suggest to raise this question on piano forum. Cheers.
gr 5, sir. :)
I played it for my grade 6 a few months ago
@koolkitten29 That's a year ago now sooo . . any tips?? I'm only starting this now! It's so annoying having to concentrate when to switch between staccato and legato!
great! i was wondering though, is this at minimum speed? i just started learning this song and would like to know what minimum speed would sound like :)
@InformationPollution My comment was not snide or overly critical. I gave my opinion in a civil manner, much like people on the other pages had, as well as without spewing vulgarities or profanities- or calling names.
@koolkitten29 haha, me too, but 4 my grade 8 RCM Examination
Me too! I have so many mistakes though...
I have this and im 6 th grade good job. Not that hard thoe but sokies and i dont do exams i got to international competitions.
Btw 2.5 years? Thats really good for this song you need at least ok but 2.5 years wow.
@RemyClavell They are very different skills. Bach challenges you with very independent movement of the left and right hands - major work for brain and coordination. Hanon challenges you with finger exercises, and traditional ways of getting around the keyboard, scales in thirds, arpeggios, octaves, etc. All valuable stuff.
I was given sheet copyed of the original from my teacher :) I can scan it for you if you want or something :D
@koolkitten29 this is in my grade 5 book 0.0 what organisation is hosting your exam> (i am doing AMEB piano for leisure)
sort of. but deciding the fingering and articulations need a bit of grey matter. so may be thats why. its not necessary for a piece to be flamboyant for higher grades. Its how much the student can decipher out of the piece, and how he interprets it
I'm playing this piece for a clarinet duet for school... it's a lot harder on wind instruments it seems than piano...:/
Don't bet on that..
It actually depends on the make, year and the type of synthesizer the keyboard has..
You CAN be fooled by a keyboard..
And already have been..
So don't judge them by just one type...
Most what you hear on the radio and movies now a days are keyboards and synthesizers..
Yet you would think it was all orchestra and bands.. And you would not say you can tell the difference.. because you can't..
where did u get the sheet music?? do we have to produce the original?
It looks we're all brothers! HAHA

there aren't actually any tempo markings on any of bach's inventions.
he also didn't write any dynamics on them.
so it leaves you to interpret it however you would like.
He palyed it ok i thiink i just got finished learning this song and from what ive experienced he is leaving alot of interpertation out. make it yours it just sounds like a bunch of notes, music is more than that. be creative with emotion!!
amazing.. post a tutorial, pls... :)
@adam873873873 if you're worried about spelling and such, it is a spelling bee** not be.
@pianogirlshopaholic so you're saying that someone who's been playing for only 2.5 years needs more practice... that's a big surprise
Sounds so similar to " Solfegietto "
The key signature is easy but the speed makes it difficult to play, i think
GOODYL
I noticed that you slowed down around the minute mark, in addition to a ritardando at the very end. I don't think it added to the song.
hey, i can play this!
You just have to practice a lot..
Look at your notes.. and really study them..
I'm not a pianist.. i play every now and then.. and ive tried this on piano.. it's not too bad.. just practice one hand at a time, which is what i did.. although the obvious lack of left hand technique.. i was able to manage a decent sounding play after a couple hours..
Just practice slow get the notes down pat then start to increase speed.
this song is hard to play when you play faster than you can read (like myself) -_-. ......luckily the reading isnt hard, its the finger work
ahhhmmmm wheres the replay button.......im serious.... :L
2,5 years? I'm in 7th grade playing it
Anna I'm in 6th :)
technincally very correct, but sent me to sleep...
its so hard on string instruements!!!
grade 8 i thought this song is a grade 6 song well im doing it for grade 6 anyway;)
This is nice... but I cant play it like that...
@mattynudin
grade 8 8-)
I think this song is very difficult
where did u get the notes? Wiener Urtext?
i'm really jealous of pple who can play this song, whenever i play this, i kept thinking about my viola notes... -_-"
Very nice... I did one too... check it out... you can see the tattoos on my hands...ha ha.. bach invention Colin...
Dis should be played faster but nice.
Btw you talk like my piano proff.
@pianogirlshopaholic And for the love of god work on your spelling. If you were in a grade four spelling be you would fail. "thxs :)"
@pianogirlshopaholic Good thing you don't need to know how to spell "Bach" correctly in order to play Bach correctly. "the is what back is knows for..." what?
Your advice is probably not bad, but your spelling is absurdly bad, to the point where I can only imagine someone spelling worse than you if they tried to do it on purpose.
