I love hearing opinions on ranking otome guys. However, I would put Gill at S (he just had me squealing the whole time) Ryuki at A (his route was just so cute and sweet) Shelby at S (come on. He’s SS at everything!) Raul at B (honestly I didn’t feel a lot reading his story) Allan at B (same reason as Raul. Didn’t feel much) Peter/Jupiter at S (I absolutely love Jupiter and was so excited when I played his route!)

I just finished this game today, and I came back to your review to leave a comment about it cuz your review was the first one I watched about it. 😉 As a newer otome player (early 2023), I'd say I agree with your overall assessment. It was good, but not the greatest. It was a fun easy game to play, which was nice after playing Café Enchanté's heavier story. 😅 My best boi hands down was Kamui! He was the only boy I found myself saying aloud several times to my TV, "I love this man!" His teasing ways with the MC, his heart-warming altruism, the banter with his grandpa, even his bad ending CG. Pure Perfection! 😘 He was so darn loveable! ❤ I just want to give him a big hug RIGHT NOW! 😂 Anyway...moving on from Kamui 😏...thanks for the recommend. Great video review as always! 😊

This game so good. The romance was meh for me until the ending. But the ending so satisfying. Unpopular opinion but I love Lucien so much and he my favorite love interest like he just so shy and cute. Like he scarfice himself for Anastasia multiple time which get to me not to mention grow bc of Ana and good with kid. A man after my heart. Then Zenn route so good. Special kudos to Maya love how she ride or die to Mc

i liked the ikemen series a lot but as a big history nerd I couldn't do vampire bc of all the inaccuracies esp the fact that jean d-arc was made a whole manNAHHHHHHHHHH

I just finished this game recently after getting distracted from other Otome releases earlier this year. I share many of your sentiments about this game. Your LI ranking is the exact same as mine. Ankou has set the bar so high for LIs, I really don’t know if anyone can ever touch him again. I teared up many times during this game but it was Le Salut and the Salvation endings that really put me over the edge and had me sobbing for several minutes afterwards. Im tearing up just thinking about it now. Piofiore was my favorite Otome before playing this game and now this game has taken over. This game truly did not disappoint me at all. I have gripes for some of the Salvation endings but I still appreciate the game for how it chose to execute things. I fell in love with this game 2 years before it got the English localization and the Japanese trailer I saw for it had gripped me then. As someone who has really been molded into appreciating tragedy and bad endings since really getting into Otome games in 2021 like you, this game was a truly great experience and I cant wait until the FD comes out.

i just got this game yesterday, i haven't been this enthralled by an otome game in a LONG time. i love olympia/byakuya as a heroine so much and i've barely spent any time as her-- she's got that 90s disney princess vibe for lack of a better word lol. and her design is so pretty aaaaa i'm a big fan of mainly romance-focused games and highly questionable anime guys lmao, i'm really happy a game like this is out in english! i haven't met him ingame yet but himuka has my favorite design, i love death femboy

I *finally* got my copy on Friday... it looks amazing and you were right... the t-shirt is *so* comfortable and fits perfectly, which is such a crapshoot when it comes to t-shirts and collector's editions. I can't wait to play this... I'm going to finish Trails of Cold Steel IV first, but then this is definitely next on my agenda! Haha! One more thing... with acrylic, there's usually a layer on both sides that you're supposed to peel off, which shrinks it down a bit so that things fit together properly. So many people don't know that because it really isn't at all obvious or stated anywhere, but I snapped the telescope when I was putting together the Night in the Woods acrylic town because I was trying to force things together since they were so tight. (😭Even more upsetting for me than anything else since I work in astronomy...) Finally, my friend was like, "Did you peel off the front and the back?" and I said, "Wait... what?!?" I have seen SO many videos of other people who didn't know this either! The best way to figure out (but it's almost guaranteed) is to just scratch a little at the corner of an acrylic piece and see if anything starts to peel.

(BTW... I love a good collector's edition of a game, and seeing people who appreciate a collector's edition as much as I do is such a pleasure!)

Anyway, have you played Cafe Enchante yet? That was the first I played without even knowing what otome is, I jumped into this world blind. If you have, is verche evermore more heartbreaking than cafe enchante? 😢

I often love bad ends more than good ends bad ends can be just death but can often have more substance,weight and emotional intricacy than good ends so i naturally play all bad ends before even touching a good end so this just seems prefect for me seems to lean heavy on the horror aspect which i appreciate even more and wish more otome had the guts to do that being said the lycoris ruins a bit of the mystery but overall seems amazing

I wish otome games companies would sell these games for PC, it doesn't even have to be on Steam Nintendo account is just exclusive to the Japanese and Western markets currently, not internationally

Came back after finishing it and all the materials- man, what a great game. When the translation was especially rough I thought I'd give it a 8-9 score, but last 2 routes (Siraishi and Yanagi) just propelled it to yet another 10 for me. Also, first game where I didn't think "well, these tropes aren't for me, but not my place to yuck someone's yum" but "ew, get this man out of my sight" more and more with each additional scene after having him in my top-2 before playing. PSA: girls, if you like Sasazuka... Please stand up. You're better than this. "I'm not good with words" is not a good reason to be an ass 90% of the time and lovebomb the other 10%. That short story was almost physically painful to read, he's genuinely a realistic portrayal of a guy you absolutely should not date. The "I didn't sleep and ate shitty food FOR YOU even though you didn't ask and now I'm ignoring you" is such an ew. "You're my reason to live", "I want to punch guys that look at you" and "I killed a person to keep you safe" may all be problematic in real life in their own right, but they're just parts of their characters, and they keep unhingeness to a tasteful minimum, meanwhile Sasazuka says 1 nice thing among 10 horribly mean, manipulative and hurtful ones aND STILL GETS THE GIRL (I mean technically the girl get him, but STILL). Vile (ps all in good humor, it's just a game and nothing personal if anyone does like him, I'm just really tired of seeing behaviour like his normalized and excused all the time)

I gotta come back after finishing Yanagi 😅 But I've been playing CxM for a while and initially I really struggled with translation before I googled and found out it's known for it 😬 The text and dialogue are so awkward and sometimes I had to stop for a few seconds and guess that the translators probably chose 2 different words for 1 japanese word without realizing that the characters were talking about the same thing... Also, this is the game I realized I don't care about how weird or dark or toxic the ally is as long as his feeling for the heroine and desire to see her happy are proportional 😂 I always love wholesome perfectly matched "true" ally, but my second favorites are usually horrible yet passionate - hello from Yosuga, Allan, Saint Germain and now Shiraishi :D I alsolike how the game is dark and stays that way, because sometimes Code Realize gave me whiplash with tone inconsistencies. [a little spoiler] The fact that an ally would murder someone in a GOOD ENDING is wild, but I'm here for the moral ambiguity! ❤‍🔥

Typically, I chase down the light novels, manga, and anime for any story that holds my interest as each medium is unique in doing something that the others can't. One series that's grabbed my attention is Otherside Picnic, which is not isekai but otherworldly.

You know how a lot of iPhone otome games are bad but I found a gem! LoveBrush Chronicles previously know as For All time, it’s story is good art is good, no pay to win or adds the story is shorter then payed games but still long enough :)

I'm still at like my first trial in tyril's route I wanna play it blind for my first walkthrough but it was giving me so much anxiety cuz i didnt wanna accuse an innocent person lol. So i took a break and played some light otome games like dairoku and now im working on varibari. I'll get back on this soon tho since the fandisc came out. I love the concept for this tho cuz it does really remind me of the manhwas as well.

W.I.T.C.H, Sailor Moon, Tokyo Mew Mew & Winx Club were all my jam in the 2000s, and I immediately had to subscribe hearing you mention these gems. The heroes in this game remind me of Sailor Stars from Sailor Moon with the way they change from male to female during their transformation. Yukinami sounds like Kish from Tokyo Mew Mew and I LOVE me some Kish. It's disappointing to hear that his route left you feeling nothing happened. I do enjoy a fast-paced game, but I also enjoy learning about the character's personality and what makes them tick. I'll probably get this game once I've gotten through my backlog of otome games and when it goes on sale.

I admire people like you who can handle tragedy in games or any form of media. I am fine with drama as long as there's a happy ending at the end, so yeah this one will get a pass from me. The other day when I was cleaning up in the kitchen, I glanced at a western movie my mom was watching and literally cried seeing a dog get left behind because a father was forced to sell him because of financial issues and the dog crying had me crying. So if I can't handle something like that, you know I couldn't handle something like this game lol. Plus I've had enough tragedy in my own life, I don't want it in the media I consume. It's probably why I gravitated towards fairytales as a kid because of they're unrealistic with happy endings.
