I'm currently re-playing this game since I finished it last year, my favorite LI is Shu but I swear that all the other LI have great personalities and chemistry (I'm not kidding, I'd love to have these guys as my friends lol) Also the story is really engaging, last time I couldn't get the true ending since I only went through each of their routes so I'm excited to finally get the last piece of the puzzle!
@Katherine Pimlott notice the different color options on the choices when you play back. Each color corresponds to a guy (it’s the color of the highlights in their hair). If not, then just use a guide

I think Collar X Malice would be a great recommendation! It follows a policewoman investigating crimes committed by a terrorist group in Shinjuku. It has a really good story but it is a bit darker than Bustafellows!
It was really unexpectable for me to see that there is another person whose opinion on this game is the same as mine. I mean it feels like you just took the words right out of my mouth! When I started playing I also looked forward to Limbo's route the most but then I fell head over heals for Mozu! He's such a precious sweet boy T_T Somehow when I finished the game I felt like it was uncompleted??? Some of hidden stories were wery confusing so I had uneasy feeling and could quite express what I feel about Bustafellows. But now after hearing your review I could finally come to a conclusion that I really enjoyed the game) Thank you!
It was very refreshing compared to other otome games that I had played at the time and I had a lot of fun playing it. Mozu is definitely a quirky but loveable character and he's still one of my favourite love interests 💕 I understand what you mean with the hidden stories! At first I was really confused when it came to the last few unlockable stories, but I found that it all came together really well in the end. I'm glad to hear you liked the game!
Because of my recent obsession with the Steins;Gate anime, I bought my first ever VN, which was, of course, Steins;Gate. Lol. Loved it so much that I went down the rabbit hole on other VNs and was then introduced to Otome games! This review was the first I watched and ended up being the first Otome game I bought on the Switch too! I'm playing thru it now and love it! So of course I'm gonna buy the other Otomes you recommend. 😉 As far as Bustafellows goes, I totally didn't like Shu at first cuz ugh, smoker, yucky. 🤢 But the second he popped that lollipop in his mouth and said "I quit cuz you keep nagging me" I fell in love with him! ❤ And then I fell harder and harder the sweeter and more honest he got with Teuta! ❤ He's my favorite so far! Weird how the guy I disliked at the beginning became my favorite. Now I only got Scarecrow left to play and he's stolen every scene he's been in and made me laugh out loud so many times so I'm looking forward to his route and am wondering now if he can surpass Shu. Guess we'll see. Lol. Thanks for the recommendation!!! 😊

Hello! There isn't a true recommended order but if you'd like to play it from the least heavy themes to the most then I would personally recommend Limbo, Shu, Helvetica, Mozu, Scarecrow, and then the finale 😊
I tried this game last month but then the first time I was asked a timed question and clicked wrong I got so upset I alt+F4 grumbling “I thought I was playing an otome game, NOT PASSING AN EXAM” Looks like Im gonna give it another go 😂
I know what you mean! I started panicking when the question period popped up the first time 😂 It's definitely a fun game though, I highly recommend it!

Can I ask when you play otome do you usually use walkthroughs to complete every route or do you explore it all by yourself?
I normally try to play the first few routes without a walkthrough but if I keep getting a bad ending, or I have a hard time trying to unlock a certain characters route, then I'll look up a walkthrough for help 😅
I feel like I always fall for the ones I initially hate. Helvetica ended up being my favorite. Unfortunately, my initial favorite, Crow, is still for sure my favorite character... just not romantically ...at all.
