Birch Wood & Reindeer Antler Knife Sheath
I have been carrying an idea for a very long time, letting it mature in my imagination and waiting for the right project to implement it. I have wanted to marry wood and antler in a simple, straightforward way that just feels natural. Let me know if you think I succeeded. Reindeer antler, birch wood, knifemaking, knife handle, knife sheath. Thank you to my Patrons: www.patreon.com/vahidcullsber...

Moose Antler Knife Handle
Moose antler knife handle. All made by hand. Two moose antlers were used to make this knife. As spacers I used two pieces of birch bark. Sometimes you just have to work with the material and not against it. I source my antlers in the forests of northern Sweden and sometimes I'll find one that has been laying around for ages, all covered in green moss, bleached by the sunlight. They can reveal l...
The Perfect Cutting Tool
Which is the perfect cutting tool to have in the great outdoors?! Knife, axe, saw, chainsaw, machete, parang, ulu. The choices are many. This is a topic of conversation that is very wildly debated and just as there are millions of people, the answers and preferences are just as many. I hope to bring my own personal perspective on the topic and I want to make sure that this is my own personal op...

Thank you for the update, live ain't always easy.
Merry Christmas from Canada. I just came across this video. Im looking for a alternative frame for my army ruck sack. Your frame is almost exactly what im looking for. Are you still building such frames? What is the price to get one produced? Do you sell the plans and parts so i could put it together myself and make it easier to ship to Canada. I would really enjoy assembuliing the frame. I look forward to hearing from you. Merry christmas to you and your Family.
Merry christmas and a happy new year! Thank you for your comment. I'm glad the frame looks interesting to you. I'm unfortunately unable to build one at the moment. I cannot say wheb I'll be able to pick things up again. I'll definately let you know. The idea of putting together pieces so you can assemle them is intriguing and something I have thought of before....it's definately worth exploring.
Sweet

I wish you and your lovely family good fortune and a lot of patience my friend. May your father rests in peace. Also your two lovely dogs. Our companions, they become no different than family members after a point. Only people who have them can understand this. I've discovered your channel fairly recently and I'm looking forward to your return. Much love & respect from Türkiye.
Both of your constructions are beautiful, of course I would prefer the first one, you mean with its imperfections. After all, there is no such thing as perfect wood, horn or bone, they are natural materials with all that implies.
All styrka Vahid
Vahid, while you have been missed, you have to be creative at the pace with which you are comfortable. Grief affects us all differently, let alone all the organisation around deaths. My heart goes out to you and your family. Be kind to yourself, go gently, and know that we are not going anywhere. You express deep emotions so clearly in English. Thank you.

Hi Vahid, sehr schöne Handarbeit
Very Nice! Greetings from the netherlands 😊
Like your creativity
Will try to make it . But probably with bone because there are no deer here.
This is a healty way to grow up!
Subscribed.
Very nice! I think it's a bit too big for the small blade but nice work!
Hey Vahid, everything okay? I miss your trips 🙂
Fiskergenser.
I have a Fjällraven aluminium rack for hunters and firefighters but I don't like it. I prefer wood. Aluminum reflects light so you can see it from a large distance. Metal is not good in winter.
I really enjoyed your video im subscribeing now as i like learning new techniques for outdoors type things ,im in North America in the rocky mountains .
Great video you have inspired me to go here thanks
Dziękuję za pokaz. Bardzo fajnie pokazujesz. Pozdrawiam!
Very nice! Last year I was down there, on the other side of the Rapa river. Passed the mountain Nammásj.
Nice work!
Very nice, good imagination.
Good job, I have not seen that before.
Your pack frames are beautiful Vahid. I am going to try making one for myself. I previously made one inspired by Otzi but it was not even slightly comfortable. and hello from Australia :-)
That's awesome bro
Amazing craft and totally customizable!
👍 Nice project. Excellent combined use of vintage hand tools and some modern electric tools. Beautiful knife. Thank you for sharing.
Beautyful knife from México at Your work
wonderful work. original and unique. "i want the knife"
I would be honored to own that knife.
You are an artist, sir!
Thank you for the video! You seem to do a lot of unnecessary work, though. Not counting the work you could do with better tools, wouldn't it save a lot of work to 1. Cut the sheath to size before making the groove for the knife, and 2. Sanding the pieces flat before doing the groove? When you do it like this you do a ton of work you don't need to.
This was really helpful! Thank you so much from USA.
Beautiful! The real deal.
Good effort but long working hours, very cold but I think the result did not do you justice. Perhaps the inner hollow part of the horns did not allow you to escape the tubular shape of the handle. Of course, I express my personal taste.
Nice work, interesting project, I have a large knife with no sheath, I am looking for ideas of what to use.
I've never seen a fingering like that, but you never learn from great work. Greetings from Germany
That’s amazing concept. I hope to try one some day. Beautiful knife
