Nice tour, before I came to Jokkmokk last summer I had been here two times and I was very curious how it would be in the wintertime, well now I know. It's a pity that I'm not an author or poet so I will never be able to really describe the feeling or the sound of the snow under my booths or the magic of the snow sparkling in full moonlight, yes summer is nice but I love the winter up here.
Hello Vahid greetings fro Eastern Oregon USA. Nice video beautiful spot ! The shovel you have I have one as well, it is Swiss Army Surplus! I bought the Hultafors Avika 5 star Axe you have from Lamnia but have not sharpened it yet. Looking forward to your next adventure. Cheers Michael
Hi Michael, thanks for clarifying where the shovel is from. I love it and doesn't take extra space or weight the way it can be packed. The axe is a keeper for sure. Amazing all around usage. Thanks for the greetings and I return them heartily.
Great video, Vahid. I like your outer sweater. Could you tell me what brand name it is or where I might find one like it? I am eating some chili I made today right now but I am a wimp and I made it inside on the stove. It cannot be as good as yours! I also finished a knife that I made from a trap spring . The handle is epoxy-soaked cordage. I think it turned out good for an everyday user. Thanks again for the video, brother.
Hi Richard, your knife does sound awesome. Hahha I doubt my chili would be better 🤣 The sweater is of the brand Teconic. I bought it years ago at the yearly traditional winter market of Jokkmokk. It is a woolen sweater with a fleece inliner. It is indeed very warm and a little bit wind proof. I'm not sure if they have a website. Googling it doesn't give much answers I'm afraid.
Hi Vahid, very nice video. I am looking for skis for untracked terrain, so it would be very nice if you could tell me the brand of skis and boots. Thank you and greetings Harald
I bought two sizes larger so I can accommodate double pairs of woolen socks if need be. I have had them in -43c and was comfortable. Rule is to get at least a size larger for the mentioned wool socks. Too tight and you'll freeze. Even with woolen socks. Gotta have space for air. Naturally it also depends if you are physically active while out or if you sit on a snowmobile for longer tracks. I apologise if you already knew all of this but since you asked about the temp...
Beautiful man I love the winter
Thanks Richard

It certainly is beautiful in winter too. And those sounds are not easy to describe like you say. Different sounds for different types of snow and ice.

Hi Harald, I'm glad you liked the video. The boots I have are Jörnkängan with the pointy nose version. The skis are Tegsnäs skis.
Thanks for your feedback. Until which minus temperature can you use the Jörnkängan boots?

Thank you for the detailed information. I am very interested in these details. Hälsningar Harald
