The issue you had in the video is actually cuz of the browser (simply press CTRL + F5 clear cookies (Or clear your intire browser manually in the browser settings)
Its not nextcloud trafic limits its a storage quita limit when creating a user accont.
Bless you for updating this. Started on the outdated video and ended up here.
I had the same experience as he did with the subscription prompt using Chrome. I fixed it by fully refreshing by browser cache, you can do so with ctrl + shift + r.
super thanks
Thank You. If and when time permits kindly post a full length video from start to finish to follow and setup a homelab server with a nas and a vm and pihole. Also should be able to access the vm and nas outside of home network. Thank you in advance 🎈
sorry but that video would be way to long and i have videos on all of these already in my channel so take a look and you can find them all
lspci -k | grep -E "vfio-pci | NVIDIA" (last step to see if its working) update-pciids (to update pci id's if its not showing the GPU info correctly)
I needed this. Good stuff
First of all, thank you very much for the well-explained tutorial. Secondly, I am trying to pass through an Intel Arc A380 to a Windows Server VM. The passthrough itself worked, without the large setup, however it doesn't seem to properly load the drivers. I get the warning symbol in device manager. Also, if I set gpu to none, VNC stops working completely. Any idea where to search for the cause? I should clarify: VNC stops working, but RDP still works after the VM has finished booting.
How come I don't see Ethernet Adapter to update it under Device Manager? I only have a bunch of WAN Miniport Only thing I did different is instead of select (host) when creating the VM I left it as x84-64. everything else I did exactly the same.
Thx! 😘Best regards from Germany!
Just about to setup a proxmox system, so this is really useful info.
hi, where do I find my ip adress for my minecraft server? Or else the vid is nice!
it’s the same ip crafty controller runs off of
I hate when people can't name their product. It's called Casa>OS< which means it's an operating system. On machine level it means there are no Linux, Windows, etc preinstalled, it means that the system takes execution from Bios/uefi. This is not the case, the product is badly named...
Short sighted. OMV is not an appliance as it does not have a ONE file, full configuration restore. How long will it take you to get the device and all services back up, if the boot/os drive dies?
Great video. Thanks!
Great content, no filler, no BS, straightforward and to the point. Thanks for creating this video, used it to great effect :)
Why did you choose to run this in a VM?
scalability with what i had available. vms can be backed up. easier to manage then a stand alone box
@BarmineTech Does it require for maintenance to keep it up and running since it is inside Windows?
Great video! Question, when the container gets rebooted, the WireGuard Configurations are off by default. Any way to configure them to turn on after a restart? Thanks!
Looking for the exact same thing, would be great if @Carmine could explain that. Happened several times now that I wanted to tunnel but it wasn't enabled.
@bartn4495 @RazeNet i am unsure why this occurs since i didn’t make these scripts or the software. however i did open up an issue on the github for this so will see if i get an update
it appears that this is a known issue for the dashboard and is currently being worked on for the next update github.com/tteck/Proxmox/discussions/3632#discussioncomment-10592708
good stuff :)
Thank you for your commitment! What I'm missing is Pi-Hole and unbound DNS in their own containers. With Macvlan this is possible and therefore represents a clean alternative. Can we expect a tutorial, that would be really nice of you!
great video thanks
Great video, very helpful!
Please update this

How much is a Plex Pass?
4.99 monthly, 39.99 annually or 119.99 for a lifetime membership. plex pro week is coming up so lifetime plans could drop for a sale or there will deff be a sale on black friday
Fantastic help/ I have had Plex with lifetime pass for 6 years and it's only lately that I've had issues where I couldn't see my local libraries. All fixed now thanks to Barmine Tech :)
Thanks
Love your stuff! keep it up! :)
just downloaded makemkv 9/15/24 and the application crashes at launch every time
i just did a fresh install and it works fine. did you add a registration key that is free on their forums? if not the program will not work
@@BarmineTech i crashes before i can even add it
restarted my machine and then was able to get it to take the key
Here's my issue: If I rip a DVD or BluRay, will that damage the physical disc at all? Because, I don't want to put the disc in after I ripped it to no longer work on my disc player.
i’m am not aware of this causing any damage to the disk. this is a orettt standard method of just copying the files off the disk to a digital storage on the computer
good work Carmine, thanks for sharing
I have no fuc... idea how the internet on yourvms works on my cant ....
you need to add the virtio drivers and then they can be installed
Thank you for the informative video! I learned a lot from it.
Great video, thank you for sharing such valuable information!
Could you start doing DNS on these deployments so they have a hostname? It seems a missing step to leave the raw IP:port for access. Thanks!
check out this video where i show how to use nginx proxy manager to set that up ua-cam.com/video/4eHnFcTSssY/v-deo.html
Hey thanks for the video! Question: For my homelab, I could run proxmox off this and also run plex on this. Then use this transcoding and store everything on a nas?
yes depending on the processor of course will depend on transcoding
As an old-school Unix sysadmin colleague of mine once said: using 'find' and 'grep' we can find pretty much everything we need on a Unix-like system.
How do you delete a tunnel configuration?
I was wondering the exact same thing. Can't find a way to delete it anywhere.
there doesn’t seem to be a way in the portal but if you go to the directory where you store your tunnels you can delete them there
Very cool!
Thanks so much for the review/overview of this NAS! I'm about to purchase the 4-bay version with a couple of WD Red 14TB drives. Prolly overkill for my first NAS but I want something powerful! Thanks again!
Hello, I have old laptop there is not ethernet port and dont have any ethernet to usb cable only have wifi on laptop to how to use proxmox in this laptop and use with my router, my router ip range is 192.168.20.xx but when i install proxmox on my laptop then show 192.168.100.1 so how to edit it or run with my routerr. Please can you help me. There is no way to connect network with my laptop using wire.
Do you have a video showing how to set this up? I tried using T-Mobile 5G home internet but could not port forward so my Plex server was not reachable outside my home. If this can solve this, I might give them another try. Would be way cheaper than my current internet.
tailscale is just a simple installer and make an account
already follow your tutorial, done port forwarding too but connection refuse. i can connect the vpn in LAN but not when i try to connect it from the outside. pardon me
Need to add your public IP or DDNS in the "Peer Remote Endpoint" in the "Settings" section. Also open the internal port on your router/firewall.
@@JuanJax funny thing is i can port forward the wgdashboard port with no issue, i even success remote my wgdashboard from wan network.. but this shitty wg port wont even show up even when i already port forward it.. fml waste like whole day trying to make it work. now i end up with netbird
@@JuanJax fkin hell this is the solutionnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.. thx man hahahaha
The only VPN that I use/deploy is HTTPS/SSL. That way I never have to ask to open ports or do anything special at all (and multiple VPNs work over the same incoming port!).
Good video, very helpful. Only issue is @11:56 "opening the external port for wireguard" is not accurate. In order to access the server from outside, need to specify either DDNS or Public IP address, instead of a private IP and port (in the Peer Remote Endpoint field). The port forwarding needs to be done at the router. But this is the configuration for the clients/peers on how to get back home. So it needs a valid public IP or Dynamic DNS.
Excellent tutorial! This is exactly what I was looking for. I'll be moving over to Proxmox soon and have been wondering how I'm going to change over all of my client config files from my current wg-easy setup. A number of clients are Firesticks at remote locations, so not the simplest to get a new config file on them. I'm thinking I should be able to copy the public key from my current configs to a new tunnel on this new wireguard dashboard, and basically clone the parameters on this new setup, so that the existing clients don't lose access? Great videos. Keep doing what you're doing. Love the focus on tteck's scripts. Looking forward to getting started with Proxmox soon.
Will I need 2 gpu’s for this work or will it work with one?
one will work
Comin' in clutch! Thanks fam!
Great tutorial for a "50-50" chance!
Hello, I am trying to install proxmox onto my spare computer and whenever I go through the installation, it does not show my target hard drive that I would want to use. After going through the BIOS, i can confirm that the SATA drive is being registered, but it is not found in proxmox. Would appreciate any help!
the drive needs to be empty make sure it’s wiped or proxmox won’t see it
