Thanks for the detailed video and discussing the problems you faced. Hoping to give it a go soon.
Thanks
Great vid I have spare pis will give this a go thanks for showing how easy it is
Hey! What about keyboard and mouse using (i connect to raspberry pi 4)? I mean this devices not working (but video output is work and picture is fine).
if your just trying to get a keyboard and mouse for the pi any wireless or wired combo would work. if your using the kvm it connects through the web server for keyboard and mouse
@@BarmineTech Yep, idea is next: i want use raspberry pi 4 (with v2hdmi-usb.img) for connecting raspberry to office PC by HDMI-USB and have remote access from my laptop to raspberry. I already have video access but can`t using ATX (shut down / switch on) and mouse + keyboard. Mouse and keyboard connected to PC (not to raspberry pi) and have yellow pick color - not active i gess.
Totally going the same route
That said, I'm a bit confused on the aspect of power over the USB splitter?
so the usb splitter can be confusing. on a typical kvm there is a usb plug that goes into the host you want to control so you can have a keyboard or mouse work on the target host. for this you approach you either need to get a no power usb or block off the power on the usb for the target host. then it needs to connect to thr raspberry pi so it can have io out. finally it gets plugged into the wall so it can power the raspberry pi. if this is still confusing join the discord and i’ll explain it further

Hi and thanks for the reply
That said, I found the following item on Amazon; 'SB splitter CM4 for Raspberry Pikvm HDMI CSI KVM IP pi ATX'
Do you know if that would take care of this particular detail in the build?
Is there some reason you didn't mention the Raspberry Pi 5?
based on the documentation on their site it’s not currently supported
thanks.
hey thanks.
No problem!
