How To Backup and Restore With Proxmox Backup Server

biggest issue i see with proxmox backup server is that when you restore a ubuntu server vm. it loses network permantly and it seems nearly impossible to restore network capability

So how can I save those backups to another drive?

could probably use rsync or winscp to get them over to another drive. the backups just life in a directory on the machine
