Peter and Paul’s views don’t conflict. Paul was a Pharisee and Peter was a Jew who followed Christ. Paul explains how the law doesn’t save you. Only Jesus does. Peter and James tell us that the law still matters. It’s not either/or. It’s both.

If you believe that there are mistakes in scripture, which is inspired by the Holy Spirit, then you are obligated by your assumption and own logic to question every other book therein. If Luke so casually made such and obvious mistake, then for good measure the book of acts would also have mistakes. This is absurd and sacrilegious. Do not say that you are a believer and follower of Christ Messiah and be so quick to say that there are errors in scripture. The word of God is perfect, God is perfect. Simply because we don't get it or understand the mysterious depths of God’s word doesn't mean that there are errors in it. We forget and I make a habit to remember the limitations of our human mind. Some mysteries are meant to be revealed through our pursuit of God's truth and understanding through wisdom and knowledge given ever so graciously to us from the Holy Father in heaven through the Holy Spirit. Just because it doesn't make sense to us doesn't mean scripture is wrong. God's ways are higher than our ways. God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts. Glory be to God Almighty who sits on HIS throne in heaven forever and ever, Amen.

Why can't Luke just be wrong?

Where does Philetaerus fit into all this? When you read the history of this man and his involvement with the diadochi, he seems to fit the description of the little Horn pretty well. He and his Dynasty (Attalid dynasty) ruled the Kingdom of Pergamon. We know from the book of Revelation that the throne of Satan/the Dragon/snake of old, was in Pergamon. The last king of this dynasty Attalus III bequeathed the Kingdom to Rome in 133bc. If philetaerus wasn't the little horn, then it was it Rome who came in and took control of Pergamon?

I think you really missed it on this one. Luke includes God in his genealogy, he doesnt need to concoct another name to make 77. To think that Luke who wrote more of the New Testament than any other author and who is so committed to detail would intentionally make up a name just to make it fit a certain preconception I find totally absurd. I think the TR got it right on this one.

A 5th century writer known as psuedo-Hilary mentioned that the view that Luke's genealogy was that of Mary's was held by many although not by him. There is very strong contextual evidence that Luke's genealogy is the biological genealogy of Jesus through Mary. Matthew is writing to a very Jewish audience and is writing to show Jesus as King and Joseph's genealogy thus follows the kingly line. Luke, a Gentile himself, is writing to a Gentile audience. He emphasizes the humanity of Jesus. He is writing to show the Son of Man is connected to all mankind and traces his biological genealogy all the way back to Adam. To those who would say it would be highly unusual to have a woman's genealogy, a virgin birth is also highly unusual. Remember the quote from Genesis, "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed." Only here does a woman have "seed". As for Joachim being the father of Mary, that comes from an apocryphal book that contains much wrong information such as the immaculate conception of Mary and the perpetual virginity of Mary.

Lord mentions his army from the north several times. That is a real spirit wind kingdom. Not of his posterity nor ... of this earthly plain, is what that scripture means. Alexander was buried on an island, dropped in a ditch. He contracted a disease that was contagious. He was very important as a visionary in uniting all people around the earth. He was actually the Messiah that the Jews were waiting for. He died at 33 years old. He might actually be the true story of the Christ, but told in a different way and different time, for memories sake.

Very interesting. Nicely done. You say that the prophecy seems to jump over 100 years of history, and 4 kings. This is likely because it wasn't a prophecy at all, but rather a story written after the fact, written in 165 BC, during the time of the Maccabees. Some of the details about the time of Babylon in 600 BC are also incorrect, but interestingly enough, everything between 175BC and 165BC are 100% correct. Whoever wrote Daniel was extremely familiar with the time period of 175BC-165BC, but not that familiar with ancient history. And again, everything in the "prophecy" that was supposed to happen after 165BC didn't happen. It was all wrong. If the whole thing was a real prophecy, then it would be 100% correct. But it isn't.

Paul tells us exactly what he is up to in Corinthians . 16 But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile.

One way of being more successful on youtube is having friends. What I mean by that? Well, do some interviews with popular atheist and/or apologists by interracting with them, being on their channels will make you grow faster. Ofc, your approach is academical and there is much toxicity on both of those sides (populat apologists and atheists) and you dont want to pick such sides...
