Isn't the book of Daniel also compiled from several parts, which are chapters 2-7, chapters 8-12, and additional chapters 13 and 14, which were written separately and finally compiled together where the chapter 1 has been added? And the book is full of Greek loanwords, for example the instruments are named in Greek instead of Hebrew and Aramaic? And the oldest part of the book is chapters 2-7, which contain six episodic stories which probably originated during the reign of Darius the Great, who was written to be the odd Darius the Mede to show that Darius was greater than Cyrus the Great?
if the secular theory be correct what then of the remainder of Daniel 11 and Daniel 12 which covers the early Roman period? Are we then to ascribe the remainder of Daniel to an Antiochian era prophet? Cant wait to see what you come up with for the remainder!
