Hi Ursula.....the salad looks good. I need to use my dehydrator im still drying in the oven with just the light on....LOL...thanks for sharing. I LOVE your floors!!!!
Hey @SteffaniesJourney, thanks so much. I like dehydrating in the oven b/c its faster but it dehydrates so fast, my herbs are sometime darker than if I do them in the dehydrator. The floors were recently done and we decided to change from the normal layout, they came out good, thanks. Enjoy your weekend.
Morning Ms Ursula, any harvest 😂 especially a Harvey Harvest is a blessing. Our weather is supposed to be nice for a few days but we did just have a high wind and heavy rain few days too 🤦♀️. Stay safe and have a wonderful week ahead, Ali ☔️🇨🇦
Hey Ali, thanks and you are absolutely right, any harvest is a blessing. Glad to year good weather came your way, I hope it lasted and the high winds and heavy rain didn't. Have a great weekend.
Hey Sista Ursula🖐🏾😁I know it’s been a minute since I stopped by. I have been super busy with two Catering Clients, Dehydrating, getting my Fall garden going and doing some extra prepping. I Dehydrated a lot of fresh veggie and ground them up and made delicious seasonings. As a matter of fact I just finished a Pressure canning project and my last Dehydrating project and It’s 2:00am here so I am so ready for bedtime. Your salad looked delish. Your dehydrated veggies look great too. I can’t wait to harvest veggies from my garden. I am happy to report everything is coming up nicely. All Thanks to God. Hope all is well with you and your family. I will stop by again to checkout your Fall garden. Be Blessed and Stay Safe. Sis Mama J and Sophie🥰🐶😊
Hey Sis, thanks for stopping by, I know what you mean bout being super busy. I know those catering clients are happy and enjoying some fantastic food. Dehydrating is my thing now but I do want to move up to pressure canning, see it done but I have not tried it yet. I am filling my jars with these fresh herbs to have them ready when I need it. I am very glad to hear everything is coming up nicely and you and Sophie are well. I will be stopping by to visit you as well. Thanks again, have a great day.
Hey, Ursula, that's one of my fav. I save the old mayo container add vinegar salt pepper and sour cream, chop up tomatoes, cucumber and red onions....OMG SHAKE IT up and eat straight out of the container. Thx for sharing.
Good Morning. Is that a homemade cucumber trellis and if so what is it made from? I finally only picked one okra off my okra plant lol. I’m ready for them to leave the party. Next year they will have garden to themselves or maybe with the squash. They’re so invasive. I pulled up one sweet potato plant out of my Walmart round bucket with the rope handles and didn’t harvest but 4 potatoes the size of three fingers but guess what I’m letting them sit and they will be eaten. They were planted back on June 15th so I thought they’d be ready by now. The other bucket I have I’ll just wait on it maybe to the end of November or December.
Hey @yolandalee4494, thanks so much. Yes, that is a homemade trellis made from bamboo poles and zip ties holding them together. I also have them in cinder blocks to hold them in place in the ground. It sounds like your potatoes, sweet potatoes and Okra could use some additional phosphorus. Try adding it (bone meal) at planting time and Alaskan Morebloom (water soluble fertilizer), it should help. Good luck with your other bucket, I hope you get a fantastic harvest. Have a great weekend.
Ursula, I can smell your harvest through the video. 🌱💚 Thanks for sharing!
