DIY Rose Water - Natural Herbal Powerhouse!
Rose Water Information and Benefits
Rose has been used in beauty products, food, and medicine for centuries. Rose water is loaded with phytonutrients, antioxidants, and vitamins A, B, C, and E.
Topically rose water is anti-inflammatory and can help soothe skin irritation and redness. Because of its anti-bacterial properties, it can help with acne, and heal cuts, scars, and burns. It is also thought to have anti-aging properties! Soaking a cloth in rose water and applying to the forehead can help alleviate headache.
Internally, rose tea is safe for most people (unless they have an allergy to rose or rose hip) and has been used for centuries as a culinary flavor and medicinally to soothe sore throat, soothe digestive issues, help with menstrual cramps and menopausal symptoms, and immune support.
Used in aroma therapy, it can elevate mood and bring feelings of wellbeing.
What can’t this beautiful flower do?
How To Make Rose Water:
It’s easy to make your own rose water. The easiest way is to simply simmer equal parts chemical and pesticide free rose petals in distilled water for about 3 to 5 minutes or until the color is out of the rose petals.
I prefer to bring the distilled water to a boil and let it cool to 120 degrees Fahrenheit, then add the rose petals, push them down under the water, cover, and just let them steep in the water until it cools.
Refrigerate and use within a couple of weeks.
Enjoy!

Strawberries can be tough. Don't wash them until you are ready to use them. And I think if you can separate them so they are not touching it will help. They seem to rot where they touch. Don't be put off if they get a little shriveled, if they are not moldy they can be sweeter as they age. So glad you like the videos :)

Then the rest I have will pair together naturally. Dress up or down. It's a big change for me went from a size 14-16 petite too 18-20 petite.the new items are so comfortable and go with all the other keep items. And I'm still sorting through the summer clothes and donating too friends . I've learned that casual flowing dresses are better in spring too fall and can be layered in winter. My teen girls I've helped throughout the years sure loved the over flow of clothes. And I've kepted all my turtle neck sweaters and cardigans that fit will gift the cream and black long cardigans because I'm a petite and they are a regular length. Now I just have too go throughout all shoes and boots. I just have too get the closet back together for quick outfits on the go. And I will keep up dating as needed.

A thought popped in my head suddenly: perhaps other women my age with those similar interests would benefit from my idea. Currently I’m working on a name, a branding type thing. Oh I am so excited for you! No one is like you, your contribution will be unique! I feel unworthy or suffer from imposter syndrome too. You aren't alone in that kind of mental discomfort. It's OK to feel it (it's hard not to) but do it anyway! Not doing it is uncomfortable too because you always wonder - what if- might as well try! I like the phrase "you miss every shot you don't take" :)

I’m 73 and even tho Im fully aware I’m no longer young, I still want to be fresh and modern . Those pants with the little bird are you. We should always be true to ourselves and who we are ……that’s what makes us unique . That’s your style!

Looks delicious! And thanks for telling us that you don’t need to peel ginger before grating it. I never knew that. And that centerpiece, OMG! Maybe my all-time favorite. So appreciate the ideas.💕

Orange sauce is one of my favorites:). And yay on the centerpiece! I reminded myself how beautiful and easy it is to float flowers. I am going to make a video for next week.

One of my favorite things to do. I clean the house Friday, go to the store on Saturday, then that night or Sunday afternoon I prep all the food. 😊

This sounds like a great idea. I always enjoy hearing about health, life choices on eating and skincare. With the warmer weather, wonderful fruits and vegetables will be here. Maybe you could post a few recipes. 😊

Hi! I’m 63 and just started concentrating on a high protein, low carb diet after years of mainly WFPB. I’m enjoying cottage cheese and yogurt that I haven’t really eaten in a few years. I don’t need to lose weight as much as I do need to build muscle. I just learned today that protein is better absorbed if you eat it after exercising than though out the day. Interesting, huh? Good luck to you and sharing your food choices would be nice to see!🌻

Hi! I am very interested in eating more plants both cooked and raw, but, yes, the protein issue, apparently we don't absorb it as well so need more of it as we age. Very interesting that we absorb protein better after exercising! That is great information! It sounds like incorporating the dairy is working for you. There are so many opinions, I am an omnivore but do want to eat more plants. Thank you so much for your comments :)

The only time in my life I was good at decluttering clothes was when I stopped work. I got rid of all my work clothes. I rationed that if I kept them, they would go out of style and no one would want them. Best decision ever. Now, if only I could clear out my current clothes….lol

I like that work clothes rational! Now we just need one for the current clothes haha. For me lately it's how I feel in them.
