I think the only AI is just the voice filters. Everything is actually Boi What playing and singing. I also love that everyone's reaction is WHY IS THIS SO GOOD
It's so sad how easily things like this get completely dismissed because people see "AI" and turn up their noses. An Increadible amount of tallent and effort went into this, and I've seen a Bunch of folks who refuse to give it a chance at all because "AI bad".
People who immediately hate something because of AI need to get over themselves. AI can make good content. It doesn't need anyone's respect to be good.

Boi What's gimmick is that he's piggybacking on the AI covers being a thing lately, and turning it on it's head by writing and singing original music and overlaying the lyrics with the characters, obviously polishing it so there's no strange audio. He's previously released some other music using this method too, a big recommendation would be the prequel to this song, Plan Z.
Should definitely listen to Plan Z by Boi What. Neon Tide actually references Plan Z at the beginning so a cool bit of connecting songs.
It's stupid how good these songs are.
From his interview with Ohrion, it sounds like these songs are all meant to be interconnected and be a cautionary tale about AI of sorts. Boi What's very aware of the potential dangers and part of these songs (not the Jeris track) is because of that from what I remember him saying.

My first impression of hearing this song when it first came out was that I Just experienced something LOL I didn't just listen to a song I actually experienced it, kind of like when you get on a ride then when you get off it sinks in that you just went through something😂

It was good but worrisome. Where will it leave true creation.
So the guy that wrote the song did everything including vocals. The only AI portion of the song was used to change his vocals to sound like plankton. Dude is mad talented.

If you look at the lyrics, you’ll see this song about that exact fear. Boi what even confirmed on stream that it’s his own feelings about the rise of AI and how he’s contributing to something that dangerous
Whats real and whats fake will be left up to fate.
In his interview with Ohrion, he said that a lot of these tracks is about that very worry. He specifically pointed to the lines "Clap clap clap til you can't take it back" as talking about how everyone is applauding AI right now, but if AI gets out of control in the future, we'll essentially be clapping "until we can't take it back". I can't help but agree.
