why didn't you get the alternator, wouldn't it be easier
@gustawuciekinier4094 - No. It is very hard and dangerous to remove the alternator while the belt is still under tension from the drive belt auto-tensioner. If you release the belt tension by turning the drive belt auto-tensioner counter clockwise, you can just slip the belt out from the alternator pulley without removing the alternator.
A big help thanks
Thanks....how much miles on the Endeavor? Mine is a 2008 with 185000 kM and I have to do this. Did you also replace the sway bar bushings? Best.
@torraplehcim5987 - Yes.
Is anybody still here?
Thank you for this video. I am about to tackle my passenger side door speaker. I'm going in a lot more confident after watching this video
very poor instructions.. there's no tools sizes mentioned
Interesting enngineering why Toro decided to use square head screws to hold down the transmission belt cover. Also I see you removed the engine bolts to remove the belt guard. DIY'ers be careful because the sometimes the head of the engine bolt will snap off.
Good job but better to tilt the mower carb side up.
Duplicated the process, 100% success, thank you for this video, was simple step-by-step and easy to follow along with !!!!
Thx. Bro! GREAT VIDEO!!
I did this to my corolla 2015 i turned counter clockwise didn't hear any clicks maybe bcz there was alot of bg noise but when i turned clockwise i did hear it release, during startup there was a sound for prob a sec assuming it was just bcz there was no oil in it now engine seems to be working fine anything i need to be worried abt thanks 👍
Great video 👍
What's a great vid mate! Well done
You do not need to remove the engine mount to do this job. I did everything from underneath. The whole job start to finish took 30 minutes (included cleanup). 19mm box end wrench with a 18" of 1 1/2 ABS pipe for the leverage works. No special tools needed.
Did you use a lift or jack? I may do this soon.
was the tensioner in a lock position when you inserted it into the engine?
@shairafzalkhan3106 - compressed and hook engaged...yes...

Can clean or replace connector but will corrode again. Better to solder wires to speaker and insulate.

Thanks man you're the best, I did the job on my 2016 Corolla and I did have issues with the tensioner not compressing so I used a screw driver to hold the tab down. Also had trouble with the tensioner giving resistance when installing but I used your method of applying pressure and doing the lower one first. Everything's running smooth.
Thank you. I did this repair. It cost me nothing but time. 👍👍
I completed the Valve adjustment and as well as a new valve cover, thank you for making this video!
How about doing a Brake and Rotor? (for HRV)or just brake pads? just a recommendation, I enjoy the layout and style of your videos, relaxing and fun because you are crafty and improvise when needed! 3k mile update on the valve cover, no leaks!
Thanks for the video... easy peasy ✌️
Genius idea! 😁
I like ur demonstration I work at the dealer and u chose the most complicated way of removing u don’t have to remove the alternator to get that tensioner out at all u can take the belt off from behind the motor mount with a long 19 wrench easily without removing the engine mount doesn’t have to be slow either to get the water pump pulley off u can put a bolt from the bottom between the frame and the pulley and break them loose from the bottom than remove the harmonic balancer with weighted socket and remove the tensioner from the bottom within 30 minutes lastly the water pump pulley u can push to the front of ac compressor without having to completely take it out of the engine bay with alternator installed
The airbags when they pop will be interrupted by the wire
Best explained impossible!!! Thanks god job brother
Hi bro, I am from India and I’m driving santa fe 2015 model and currently I am also facing the same problem in my vehicle, the knocking sound and vibration at the speed of 35 kmph and 55 kmph only, and the car runs fine on all the other speeds, the Hyundai service centre mechanics here are asking me to change the propeller shaft but since it’s a costly part I am not willing to do this, and after seeing the shaft I can tell you that tere were no fallen parts in my propeller shaft and it is not rusted too, yet I am facing this issue, can you please suggest something, any help would be much appreciated, thanks
This video is far better than the official video guide put out by Toro! Toro would have you needlessly removing the blade!?!
Nice
Great video! so helpful!
Black RTV Nice! You should put a description of all the parts you used!
All work no blah blah 🤣🤣🤣☠️☠️☠️
Hahaha...you show the harmonic balancer pulley bolt as finger tight...just wait till some of you see how bloody tight they do that bolt ...you will need a serious rattle gun to get it out...a Milwaukee will do it....then again we had to get a breaker bar and lower the full weight of the car on it to undo a really tight one......good luck boys and girls
Never had crank bolt on a Mitzi that hard you need more experience
Apparently this is a common problem with the 2014-2016 Toyota corolla's, reliable cars, but crapy paper speakers and aluminum wires. There should be a recall. Here in Canada I just took my car to visions and had new front speakers/tweeters installed. Took them 90 minutes. They sound is great, better than original speakers. Total cost for the speakers and install about 500$. happy with my decision.
Unreal. Looks like I'll be doing the same.
Well done with good info, thank you. Maybe use trans fluid to lube seals. Grease might break down the seals over time. Coat the axle splines with anti-seize before reinstalling. I just got done destroying an axle because it was frozen in the hub/bearing. When installing the axle into the trans, place the opening of the lock ring, up for easier install. If the opening hangs at the bottom, it could jam on the splines on the mating shaft. CAUTION: you don't want the anti-seize to get scraped off while sliding axle into the hub and getting deposited on the bearing surface where the axle mates with it. It won't squeese out and will mess up your torque. It will cook out and loosen the axle/hub connection. Best to put anti-seize in hub and let axle shove excess out towards the threads were you can clean up the excess.
I have the same problem with my axle. Seems like it's welded together with the hub. Any ideas how to get it to come loose??
@stephenburem9582 depends on what you're willing to destroy and what you're trying to replace. If you're installing new bearings, then you need to push axle in enough to get to the hub bolts. Sounds like your axle ain't moving. You can start by putting castle nut back on backwards to protect threads and use sledge on it. I ended up going through 3 cutoff discs to cut up the hub and peel it off the splines. This exposed the bearing that I torched, then used sledge. Finally came loose. Couldn't save axle thou. You could disconnect knuckle, pull axle from trans and try to press it out. You will most likely twist off bolt head trying to remove the ABS sensor. The sensor has a plastic sleeve. If bolt comes out, you can spin sensor to break it loose. Broken bolt? I was lucky there. I had my axle out and used a 10mm socket on the sensor head to tap it out. Good luck, and buy bandaids.
@stephenburem9582 I have one other possible, less destructive method. If you could get your hands on a large three Jaw or hub puller rated for at least 5 ton and apply ant-seize to its threads to help prevent galling, you might be lucky. Some people are lucky by threading two screws through the hub that press against the knuckle. Just put something between the bolt and knuckle to protect the knuckle.
Thank you for an excellent presentation. My ABS sensor bolt broke. Once I got the axle out of the knuckle, I placed a 10 mm socket over the sensor tip and the socket lined up with the outer edge of the sensor body. I was able to tap the sensor out. Now I have to figure out removing the broken bolt.
Turning the crankshaft at the end of the process, is it necessary or can this process be omitted?
Supposedly, you can destroy the engine if you don't do it.
Nubs McGillicuddy and there ya go
Perfect, in the near future I need to do this work on my toyota, but I can't measure the torque when I put the part back in place.
