Owning a wolf dog isn’t like some fantasy scape where we are an elf hunter with our companion. Sure, they can become a companion of sorts, but they are still wild animals with instincts and needs that don’t always align with our own. I have had friends with that dreamy look in their eye of owning one of the these and I always warn them ‘Don’t. They are not dogs.’ I am a loner, very independent (which many people do not understand because we live in an extroverted world) and would love to own one, but I won’t unless I know I can safely and with respect to their needs.

I bought a wolf dog as a pup, everything she pointed out we have experienced. She is eight years old now. She is independent, she runs her own show. She is very loving, sweet but loves her alone time. She is very smart and understands and communicates very well with us. She has settled down with age, as a pup she was a challenge. We just love this girl.

My dog is 1.8% wolf. She is quite doggy.

My dad had a party Wolf Dog, He was a big Teddy Bear, but his wild side didn't like to jump into the back of a truck like his homies. If he killed a skunk or raccoon in the backyard in Winter, it was his kill and you couldn't go near it. But he was a Teddy Bear other than that 😂

We lived downtown. Mr.B did fabulously. There were so many pictures and photo shoots. He did great. Raising B kinda came natural. I did research AFTER I had him. Come to find out, I was raising him on my instincts/intuition. Plus, he is very low energy. That's the only non-wolf trait. He's LAZY! A good day if he's up before noon. Loves freash meat

Hybrid are not pets. They are companions. So very smart. You have to turn your family into a pack.

Friend of mine had either a mid or high content wolfdog, I remember looking at her and thinking she was full wolf. She was so energetic and so territorial, but so gentle with my friend, like she saw my friend as her weird bald bipedal puppy

Maybe if you guys didn’t charge hundreds of dollars for visitors you wouldn’t need to be also asking for CASH! You wonder why your visitors aren’t coming in?! Maybe because Canadians are struggling to eat and heat their homes and you people think charging $150 for a hour of “interaction” is reasonable. Give me a break!

I’m super jealous, sure wish I was able to raise a wolfdog. I bought a dog that was supposed to have wolf in him but ended up didn’t, which after learning about raising them I understand I don’t have the time or enclosure for one.
