My Kali was my life she was a product of two half working line GSD half timberwolf parents. She would take apart furniture. And on the two occasions she blew up it was impressive. She had a high prey drive and killed several coyotes. She did not obey because she wanted to please me but because she had learned it was to her advantage. One time a fool kicked in my door thinking he would rob the house. Tbe door hit her and she was trapped by the robber. She tried to kill him and although I gained control in time we were blamed by the police. We were together 18 years.

i got what i thought was a mid content husky/wolf from a wolf breeder, he unfortunately passed away in his sleep at age 14....he got along well with every dog at the park, but there was a guy that brought his 4 huskies to the park and my dog went right up to them started fighting for real full blown, I'm thinking in my head no way is he going to go over there, well he put on a damm good show, and me and the other owner broke it up, I actually fell to the ground and landed on my back and I'm 220lbs one of his dogs was charging in, the owner of the pack was a really cool guy and said I must have a alpha to do that. I took him to the other side of the dog park which is huge, with a lake and i kid you not my wolf "Blue ran right back over there and started fighting all them all over again" none of the animals were injured thanks to the thick coat.

That’s wild. As an owner of a bunch of wolf dogs & German shepherds. I e broke. Up many fights & I absolutely HATE it.
Easily the least fun part about rescuing & training them. Only times I’ve ever been bit is while breaking up fights… But just like u said. Everytime I break them up. They’re always fine. I guess they’re coats protect them, but I sure as hell get chewed up…
      Glad everybody was alright…

Just looking for some advice, would having another dog such a german shepard (that is calm) be advisable with a mid content?, In addition, would socialising the pup at an early stage help with the natural wearyness to humans? i know wolves in general are shy towards humans and you cant fully change that (you can probably never get a wolf dog to like new people quickly etc)

It depends on several different factors. A wolfdog that is well socialized at an early age may get along with a dog. Some may not. It heavily depends on their personality, socialization, and training. EDIT TO UPDATE: Wolfdogs are pack animals so it is advisable to pair them up with another dog or wolfdog, but they will require socialization.
Socializing a wolfdog puppy to humans early on does tend to make them more comfortable around the people that raised them, but they will likely always be cautious around strangers. It is an instinct that comes with wolfdog ownership. It is also important to keep in mind that wolfdogs mature around the age of two or three and their behaviours often change with this. A puppy that was once snuggly and playful may grow up into a wolfdog that is aloof and doesn’t want to be pet. It really depends on the individual wolfdog. If you are interested in more information, I heavily recommend checking out www.wolfdogawareness.com to read more about wolfdogs.
